Cam actually made several nice passes throughout the bucks game but which were not capitalised by the players. Then you also had the buttery-smooth alley oop he setup for DFS in transition for the slam jam finish that people don't mention. That was just a thing of beauty! Players like booker, beal etc were score-first players until their later years. Maxey who's a year older than Cam was always a score-first player until this yr. The expectations and narrative gets way overblown for a just turned 22 yr old finding his way in what is his first real season and only 7th game with this starting group.

Maxey pasaba e increíblemente bien, solo que el encargado de repartir era Harden

I agree, some of the games i've watched he makes good reads that turn into good looks but its only sometimes. I feel like he could be a better offensive engine if he focused more on the development of his passing rather than scoring scoring scoring all the time. Also, passing up on ok looks, he shoots a lot of tough shots instead of probing for easier looks or passing. I think he has it in him to be a better passer but he needs to be really drilled to look for passes more often.

This was perfectly said! People are comparing Cam to players who are already developed, they expect him to be this Polish player NOW when he just now getting the chance to play. I believe in Cam, he already has the hardest part down (putting the ball in the hoop), he can easily add playmaking to his game with more reps.

Cam is fun to watch. He totally makes use of his strength and low center of gravity. It's like he's playing sumo basketball, as in sumo wrestling, I don't know if I've ever seen someone with this style of play do this so effectively and effortlessly.

He reminds me of Harden sometimes like I'm seeing doubles. Hopefully, Brooklyn develops him seriously from now on.

I felt like if they let him play 35 min as soon as kyrie and kd left he would been a better player and better at knowing when to shoot tough shot and when to pass Kobe had to learn it to and he would have been better.but again what the nets doing they are stunting his growth they got to fire the coach they missed the coach they 2019 because he was good at developing young player as a coach

excellent analysis, my man. you pointed out details about his scoring I hadn't considered before. agree 100% on his playmaking - it's tough to watch. I think he needs a lot more playing time, get some seasoning, and hopefully he'll start to see the court better

Appreciate it, and I agree things like Playmaking normally improve with more experience and reps, good thing is Cam is only 22 so he still has plenty of time to grow

Its also difficult on this roster to really get good assists since they lack severe spacing because of simmons if you watch the nets you can see that the nets primary scorers in Mikal and Cam get doubled a lot this makes it for defenses very easy to navigate where the ball goes he does makes some nice playmaking plays but a lot of them also dont get capitalized on

@@j-us-t_be-in-g this is from weeks ago, when he was starting only because CJ and Clax were out. LOL. and the point still stands - he needs playing time to develop his playmaking skills. CT is amazing at scoring and below average at literally everything else

JV stopping him from being an all-star. IDK if they’ve gotten into internal fights or JV is simply jealous, but there is def something between JV and CT.
Regardless, JV at best is a mediocore coach, CT is a young stud of a player, therefore JV gotta go.

When he fakes to take the ball this move is from KD, When he step back, this one is from James Harden, When he does impossible lay up and drible with low gravity, this one is from Kyrie. The man definetely learns from the 3 !
