it’s honestly not, and i don’t mean that in a bad way. he’s just taking and making more threes. he’s always been this good, him and the team has just had terrible luck with injuries
@@HiaLeo Its' not just that. He only took four 3s against the Suns and still had a great game. His rim finishing % is higher. His FT rate is higher. His passing is better. His 3P Range is longer. Now, I think big jump in 3P attempts and efficiency basically enables all that other stuff because it bends the defense, but hes now mature enough to see it all and take advantage of it.
@ I watch him play a lot, this is who he has been, unfortunately injuries to him and key pieces of him team along with mid season trades have made it difficult for him to get into the rhythm, but the skill has always been there, as you said the extra attempts, which leads to baskets, open up those other offensive options. I’m not downplaying his season, on the contrary i’m pointing to the fact that this is who he’s always been when the setting is correct
@@HiaLeowhile you’re right, we all have been watching him as heat fans. His poise is different this year he’s not rushing or panicking or stumbling/fumbling the ball when trapped. He’s a much wiser, mature, composed and poised player. The intangibles are palpable if you truly pay attention.
Herro finally figured out the formula and has come into his own as a player. He’s made strides as a playmaker as well. Entering his prime he could be a 25-27 ppg guy if he ups his percentage at the rim
He's reading the game so much better. He's always been a scorer but he's insanely efficient now, and he's not even chasing points. He's playmaking and making unselfish play for others. He put some weight on in the summer, and you see the improvement on defense. Dude is having an incredible season.
Great video, definitely sums up the improvements in his game. Last year it was almost always a one handed midrange floater. He now has way more control and way better reads.
I soured on Tyler for the most part over the frustrating parts of the last few years but always liked him but felt the leap was taking too long for our window, but I am so proud of this dude and can't wait to see what's next for him
The crazy part of the NBA is that the draft age range means if you draft a guy at 19, they might not be early peakers. So think about TH at age 24, so that's basically a 2nd year player if they left college after their senior year. Heat drafting Jaime also makes timing sense since they are close to the same age.
As a long time Herro fan, I can tell you without a doubt, this is the same Herro, with more 3PGA. They’re letting him shoot more threes. Tyler is a star who can heat up on any night. This is the EXACT Herro we were seeing last year before his injury, which caused him to miss a majority of the season, in addition to a trade for Rozier which completely changed our offense. He wasn’t able to catch a good rhythm. People like pointing to his playoff numbers, which I don’t believe is fair because he was injured in 23, and Jimmy(our #1 option) was injured along with duncan and JJJ in 24, and he still led us to a win @ Champs home. As long as our team is healthy, this Herro is not a huge surprise to some of us. It’s what we always expected when our team is healthy and flowing.
@@HiaLeo as a heat fan this is not the same herro way better passer but slasher more confidence to take bold threes some things are the same but a lot is different
@@HiaLeo you’re tripping if you think this is same Herro. Dude is setting screens for other players and using his gravity and 3 point threat to drive to rim and is welcoming contact which is why his whistle is better. Also his playmaking has been impressive as hell. And no he’s not only taking more threes but also better shots. His decision making has been great. Feels like he’s always making the right play. Even his defense has been decent. He’s improved all around. You’re not paying attention.
His biggest issue is availability. Herro either gets hurt at the beginning of the season or the end, around playoff time. Hopefully, this year, he breaks the trend. Let's go heat!!
That's his original game minus penetration lay ups during his rookie season after that it vanished because he was used as the main point guard where he needs to facilitate as well.
You're using words youve never heard, but read .. learn how to pronounce Pinoy.. also your assessment on the front end of the video, was slightly off. Tyler was a mid ranger shooter, NOT an outside shooter. Herros player comp has always been more cj McCollum, than dev booker.. .hes added some bulk, but his shot profile is what has changed. "3 or lay" (think golden state/steph math).. this was already happening at the end of the last season. A third of the year way through the following season, people are finally noticing.
This team cannot go to finals, if this guy trust them, without legit center.... This guy is good in low class NBA TEAM. IF TEAM CELTICS AND NUGGETS, WHAT HIS STATS?
@MrMoarpienao I will tell u your Miami heat team will not get in top 4 In the PLAYOFFS. IF DUNCAN WILL NOT SHOW UP. MIAMI WILL LOSE. MARK MY WORD. DUNCAN ROBINSON WILL BE THE KEY. NOT HERRO.

As a Heat fan who watched 90% of Herro's game this is a great breakdown.

The game slowed down for him, that weight helped him get more comfortable in his spots
Shout out to Joe Cronin for being a fool
Best Herro breakdown ive seen

Finally realizing his potential, all star Herro has arrived. He still young tho, I just say finally cause I always knew he can ball.
The playmaking is next level as well but I'm glad he's getting this recognition regardless.
He was playing high level last season before his injury
True
you forgot to include how his playmaking/passing improved i mean thats one of his biggest asset right now
he is overall a better player a better playmaker and a pure scorer..
One of the biggest things for Tyler is staying healthy, and so far this yr he hasnt missed a single game
as a celtics fan. i kinda like this content even if he's a rival team
He's got bills to pay now

All Star for NBA Season 24-25 is Tyler Herro.
Moving Tyler to da point was best decision spo made
That buzz cut herro different
someone made a video that didn't adhere to the "the NBA has a X problem". Good god the impossible has happened.

And When D rose was In His Peak Athleticism
I agree he is not a good finisher below the rim, often his layup is block or he missed. He has a nice bounce this year, plus increased shooting %.
He's getting better though I've seen him finish through contact lot of times this year
He’s a good finisher for the women tho
Herro still 24 till January
I knew it was happening before it was happening. Bout time you all noticed 🥱. ALL STAR!!!!
Please talk about D'angelo russell
He's 24 not 25
Herro Bam Nikola are gonna be a problem hopefully wear also steps up even at least into a solid reliable defender

Did he say "pinoy step"??
