Because I've been a nice person all year Santa Paws has brought a wonderful gift...a new bike to build!

Top Guy Ali ! That was fabulous to see. PS, I'm gonna send you my spare headset press!
Actually, pounding it in works better for me. With a press you have to be super careful that the headset doesn't tilt on the chamfered edge. And you need the correct adaptors to press on the outer race. So yeah 😁 block of softwood & a hammer - it's fine!
We need more people doing things like this this is what gets kids riding. If this happened to me i don’t think i would ever lose motivation

Good job Ali, bet he's over the moon happy to get such a sweet bike, AND signed by none other than AliC, DannyMac and DuncanShaw. Only thing that looked left to do was dial in those brake levers a bit for him to reach easier. Have a good Christmas.

You can make a tire insert by using a pool noodle and cut it down the mottle so You have two u shaped tubes. cut it to size and do the same, melt it and inflate like so. I’ve done it but not fully tested

I used to use hairspray to mount or remove grips, I tend to run lock-on grips these days though.

Avid speed dial 7's are great levers for the money. I still use them with bb5's on my freeride bike and not willing to change them.

I used a pair of BB7s about 15 years ago before the redesign. They were still respected over many model of hydraulic, including Avid's own hydraulic lineup. Avid used to be such a cool brand, now it's just sram poo.

11:16 @community What is the width of the cogs on the Trial Tech Sport Sprung single-speed specific sprung chain tensioner? Does it fit Halo DJD SS 135mm rear cogs with a vertical drop out? Is it compatible with the Gusset Tank Chain & which front chain ring would you recommend? TIA!

16:17 do you like the smell of birth defects? Maybe you should watch the movie about PTFE (Teflon) guaranteed birth defects just from handling it, death within 2 months if you breathe it after igniting it (which DuPont did to multiple workers by lacing cigarettes with it to test its hazardousness)
