- Thrift with me at Timeless Consignment in Meriden, Connecticut! We'll check out all of their great merchandise and then head over to Salvation Army in Newington. Afterwards, I'll share my impressions of both stores and give you some tips if you want to check them out for yourself.

I really enjoy my time shopping with you and finding all those treasures. I feel that I am with an old friend who knows just what I like. I loved the tour of your neighbourhood. Here in New Zealand we do not have a long history and are so far away from the rest of the world. Not many old antiques have made it this far. Have you ever been to the Marlborough barn in Marlborough, Ct? it used to be a New England furniture store that’s been converted to an antique store that also sells some new items. It’s huge and you could get lost there! If you’ve been to Middletown continue down 66.
I went there AGES and AGES ago. I had no idea it was converted into an antique store! I'm definitely going to check it out and very much appreciate the tip! Thank you!

The brown mug that you liked the shape of, FRANKOMA, was made in Oklahoma for over 50 years. They had a few fires in the company history. Their small Christmas "card" ceramics are very desirable. The Prairie Green was a color that is very popular.
I regret not buying the mug. I'll have to look out for the small Christmas "card" ceramics. Thanks for the tip!
