- Join me for some vintage Valentine's Day decorating. Be warned - I had a very near CATastrophe as I decorated my parlor!!! I'll also give you some fun ideas on how you can incorporate some colorful vintage Valentine's Day ideas into your own home.
I absolutely love how you decorated for Valentines ❤ so nostalgic and vintage and personal yet not the monotony of mass produced items❤
Thank you!! 😊It was fun to gather everything together and figure out how to best use them.
Gloomy weather in Massachusetts too. I still have my satin ruffled candy boxes from the 70's and 80's. They make a pretty display
I bet they're lovely! You were smart to hold on to them!
Beautiful.
I love playing, shopping, my house, and thrift stores to decorate for the seasons! Thanks for your inspiration from Oklahoma ❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
I love how you added all the vintage treasures for Valentine’s Day. I love your hutch both ways and your mantle looked beautiful. I did subscribe. Love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave me a comment!
❤ I LOVE YOUR MANTLE WITH THE RED GLASS....HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY ❤
Happy Valentine's Day to you too!
I’m glad that somebody else out there has a vintage valentine collection. Mine are the type that kids gave away to friends. I have them hanging on ribbons around the house.
I bet they look so pretty!
❤ ANOTHER COMMENT....YOU ARE REALLY AN "ARTIST "....I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL ❤
I'm so glad you're enjoying it! That makes my day!
You got me at the sight of your hutch and my dream Botanic garden collection. Lovely display!
Can't wait to explore your channel 🎉🎉🎉
And to finish this video
Thank you! I really enjoy finding different pieces to add to my collection. I'm always on the hunt for them!
First time here. Love all the ways you pulled in what you already have. The second way you did your hutch was my favorite of the two. Both were beautiful!!
Thank you so much! The hutch was HAUNTING me until I tried again!
Love the repurposed ash tray! So clever!
Thanks! I'm glad it didn't gross you out!
Hello from a former Connecticut resident and new subscriber. We now live in North Carolina but still love New England. Looking forward to future videos.
Thank you so much for watching! Let me know if there's anything specific you'd like me to cover from your former home state!
Love how the hutch turned out ❤ I thought it looked nice the first time too 😂
Thank you! My husband didn't see any difference between the two!
Great job, love the yellow hutch❤️
Thank you! I just painted it this past December to match the cabinets.
Hi there! I just came across your channel and I’ve subscribed🥰 love your style! I am just starting my vintage journey and it’s harder than I thought finding others who style their homes with vintage items so I’m thrilled to have another friend here on UA-cam who enjoys vintage! Thanks for sharing! ❤
I'm so glad you're enjoying the channel! Welcome, and thank you for leaving me a comment!
Your heart garland is really nice. I love the pink. I went looking online for a Card Holder to hold all my vintage/antique cards too. Thanks for the ideas and your mantle looks wonderful. Kitty Kitty. lol
I'm glad to hear that my video gave you some ideas! Thank you for the comment!
I love all your vintage things. The red glass pieces on your mantel are beautiful. I have a small collection of Valentine’s postcards. I need to get them and place them in my Valentine’s decor! I wanted to let you know this for when you decide to put real flowers in your home, lilies are very toxic to cats. So much so that if they eat a small bite of the flower or foliage or even just the stamens, it will kill the car very quickly. Our Flopsy ate a small piece and by the time we figured out what was wrong and got her to the university animal ER, it was too late. They put her on dialysis, but she died anyway. 😭 It was a horrible traumatic event. Roses and carnations are safe for them, but many other flowers are toxic in some way.
Oh my goodness! I didn't know that about lillies, only poinsettas. I'm sorry about your Flopsy! I'll definitely be sure to do research before bringing real flowers into my home.
Beautiful
Thank you!
Nice
Thanks!
