- Keelung, Taipei 台湾基隆 is a port city in Northern Taipei and we take a day trip to explore its unique setting, surrounded by both mountains and a harbor. We hopped on a train from New Taipei to Keelung to enjoy the freshest seafood at the local fish market and marvel at the street food at Keelung Night Market, one of the most famous Taiwanese Street Food Markets in Taiwan.
We also take in the spectacular ocean views and rock formations on the northern coast of Heping Island Park - as well as take a spontaneous dip in its breathtaking ocean pool! Plus, we visit one of Taiwan’s most Instagrammable tourist attractions: the colorful, European-style seaside houses at a colonial Japanese fishing port.

Thank you for your kind words! 😃 Ralph travels with a Canon Kiss loaded with Kodak film or a Contax G2 📸 The film camera cafe is called SNAPPP and it's near Dihua Street. They also have another branch in Chifeng Street. Hope you guys enjoy your Taipei trip! 🇹🇼

Hi, may I know how you travelled to Keelung City? My friend and I are also coming from New Taipei City (jingping) but it google maps doesn’t show me any route by train. How much did it cost in php, too? Really loved your vlog. Thank you!
You can take the Circular train (6 stops) from Jingping station to Banqiao first then exit the station to look for the Fuxing shuttle (12 stops) to Keelung Station. Keep asking the friendly officers for the train to Keelung (pronounced Jeelung) if you get lost. Be sure to check Google maps for the time. 52 NTD or 100 PHP I think. Might be different. Good luck and have fun! 😊

Hi! Thank you for watching! Yes, we took the same train back from the Keelung Station to Taipei 😃They have multiple trains leaving from the station throughout the day. I don't think it should be an issue. When you get to Keelung, just be sure to check the departure times of trains going back to Taipei, so you can plan what time to head back to the station. Have a great trip!

Hi! It was only a short drive, so this was under 100 NTD. I think around 70 NTD.
