Lovely video, thanks for sharing!! You make it look nice and relaxing there, right up my alley. Most other videos I've seen make it look a little busier and stressful (to me). Hoping we can make it a similar relaxing experience.
I took some of my wedding pics on Dihua! It wasn't during lunar new year so far less crowded but so enjoyable! We did it during summer too so it was both hot and humid. These video series is so amazing! Thank you for producing such wonderful content!
How cool, I'm sure the wedding pics turned out amazing. Dihua has such character. Thank you so much for the comment! We're actually preparing to return to Taiwan next week, so look out for fresh content 😊 Any recs definitely welcome!
Literally everytime I want to visit somewhere you guys have a vlog there 😂 love the vibes you have put in each and every video! keep up the good work ❤
@@tranvananh5450 In our experience, there are no more quarantine restrictions for passengers arriving in taiwan. No requirement to stay in a single room and no covid testing. But they give each person a free test kit for you to use if you want to. 😊
Hi there! Lovely vlogs! Could you guys share a bit about the winter weather there? I'm going on the 1st of Jan till the 19th, and I'm over contemplating whether I need heavyweight winter outers or not hahaha because I heard the winter there is just mild, thank you!
Hi! This was shot in mid January last year. For us, the winter weather there is mild. We survived on long sleeve shirts in the day time and a uniqlo ultra lightweight down at night. But even then, it doesn't get extremely cold. Just pleasantly cool. And for context, we live in Manila which is tropical year round. If you live in a country with a winter season, I don't think this will be a problem for you. 😊
Awesome!! So glad to hear that 😊 It depends. Shopping malls accept cards, but we've encountered small shops that require a minimum to use your card. Night market stalls and restaurants like Addiction Aquatic are cash only. Make sure to withdraw cash at ATMs in the airport. 😊
If you're a fan of massages, Taiwanese foot massages are something else. Their technique is amazing, but can be a little pricey compared to other countries, like Thailand. There's a popular chain called Dancing Finger, and we got massages around 600 NTD for 30 min. I think it was 900 NTD+ for 1 hour. But definitely worth trying especially after a long day of walking!
Hi! Want to go to that Tainan food eatery (3:47) you went to in the dadaocheng neighborhood. Do you happen to still know how to get there? I can't find it on Google Maps. Thank you.
@@RalphSam thanks for sharing that!! I was debating whether I should buy a camera for our trip and wondered whether our phones could be enough. Your video looks great, I think I can make it work with my phone too.
@@denisea.9033 And yes, phones work fine these days! The 4k / 1080 video quality keeps getting better especially with Samsung S phones and the iPhones. Yes you can make it work for sure!
@@RalphSam that's super encouraging to hear. I have an iPhone 13Pro, it has a cinematic video mode which I'm sure can do some cool things, lol. Now to learn to video edit like you guys! 😅
Rapid test not required in Taiwan. The Taoyuan airport gives you a free test kit but not required to use it. Very nice quality Abbott box of 4 antigen test kits. Regarding QR code, not at all, Taiwan does not require QR like Hong Kong. It was easy the whole time in Taipei. Thanks for watching 🇹🇼❤️
