  • This is an attempt to compare two different polyphonic octave pedals. Using the following gear:
    Emerald X10
    Boss Octave OC-5
    Nano Pog - Electro-Harmonix
    Orange Acoustic Pedal
    Bose S1 PA
    Pedaltrain nano
    Please forgive the errors - I can't claim expert here😃

    Thank you for your wonderful video! That Emerald guitar is really something special! Now, the cool thing about the OC5, is that if you turn the -2 Octave knob all the way to the left, it will play an octave on the lowest note in a chord ONLY. If you play single notes, it will do the octaves as usual. Now, it's not perfect, but it works pretty well for me (I use it at solo gigs with acoustic guitar), and I think your picking style would lend itself well to that setting. 🎸

    Yeah I like the boss too it sounds warm but it’s deep n reaching
