Hi buddy, I bought this exact same model today after watching your review. Just wondering if you can share your icc color profile with me please? As I don’t have color calibration tool and am not happy with the color accuracy. Please buddy if you can share your color calibrated icc profile. Cheers!
It is actually not advisable to share ICC profiles because it was produced under a rather unique conditions and factors like the computer that you use, the ambient lighting where you use your monitor and so on. What you can do is rent a calibrator or hire someone to calibrate your monitor within your work area. Some people offer calibration where you bring your laptop to a meetup but that is not advisable since the lighting in your work area will definitely differ from the place where you will meet up. Best solution is to buy a calibrator or rent one.
Hello after 8 months of using it do you find any issues or problems about this? Do you still recommend it for daily use? Thanks I'm planning on buying one of this I hope you can share your experience so that I can decide if I will buy it or not
I think for the price I am very satisfied with this monitor. The only thing that I dont like is the power button at the bottom. Also the non adjustable stand. But I solved that with a monitor arm. Colors are ok since I calibrate them with Xrite. But it is contrasty if you dont calibrate.
@@drewvil the calibrator produces what is called an ICC profile. It us specific to the monitor and environment where the monitor was setup. The ICC profile can be shared but will not be accurate to anyone else even if we are using the same monitor.
thank you so much bro😍 also you ever feel congested vertically while working on premiere like you always scroll up and down on timeline to work with 6 or more layer/track projects in premiere? Ever felt it is too limited vertically? I was about to took it's 34in version and later find that the poi is only 81 on 34 wfhd ! With this 29in we get 96ppi that is very good as I'm currently using a 24in with 91ppi. Then I shortlisted this 29in and lg 32 in normal size 2k monitor come with a 36%more prize. But I read some comments that 32 is too big to work closely! I'm totally confused . Can't find the right size with right price. As this monitor is only cheaper i think I should try it first as you said. Do you strongly recommend this for maya, blender, premiere, AE etc. Thanks
I am using it mainly for Premiere and for me the height and width are enough because I only display the timeline here. I also wanted to try stacking vertically but I currently have three monitors and I still couldn't decide if I needed just two because having three monitors is really convenient for me. That's the reason I am recommending the 34" ultrawide if you can only use one monitor. But if you are going to stack it vertically with another monitor, the 29" would be better
nice content my friend, I prefer horizontal setup monitor rather than vertical setup, I'm planning to buy LG monitor like this one, but I don't have color calibrator. if you wouldn't mind can you send us the link where we can download your icc profile?
ICC Profiles produced by the calibrator is not usable for by anyone else even if you have the same model of monitor. The profiles are produced by the calibrator based on existing variables such as condition of monitor at the time of calibration, computer's graphics card, ambient light where the monitor is placed and so on. ICC Profiles I used can be used by others but doesn't gurantee to produce same accuracy
@@RollyMagpayo Firstly, thanks for the video! I'm buying one! Even though the ICC Profile can't guarantee a perfect result, it's a good starting point, can you share the one you created? :)
The LG Monitor is not as color accurate as the Viewsonic Pro monitor. It is too saturated. But after calibrating with an Xrite Calibrator, the colors are the same with my Viewsonic. I highly recommend using a Calibrator if you want accurate colors especially if you are using more than one. You can get consistent colors for all your monitors.
It has an HDR effect. Not sure if it is true HDR or just a simulated effect. I don't use it because HDR renders inaccurate contrast for my photo needs.
@@RollyMagpayo so in short, it will damage the product huh? dang, I was hoping it was somewhat removable since Im planning on having this display tilted on my desk. Thanks for the video!
@@blitz-kun005 yes, that is correct. I am not sure why they designed it that way. You cannot tild it upor down with the included stand. Best option is to use a Vesa compatible monitor arm
For video editing I would recommend the 39" ultrwwide, for multi-monitor video editing (vertical stack I would recommend this. For single monitor for overall use, I would recommend a normal 32" monitor, as long as you have deep table space. I find the 32" monitor too big if it is too close like if your table is just 24" deep (width)
With the included stand, the answer is no. The design was actually weird. No tilt up and down and no swivel to left and right too. I think I mentioned that in the CONS. But this monitor is good except for the included stand. Anyway a Loop Alloy Monitor arms cost less than a thousand pesos for a single monitor
I had a 32" before but I wasn't satisfied with it because the depth of my table wasnt enough bthe monitor was too close to my face that i couldnt see the full monitor when i look straight. 27" was better for my table. If you have a deeper table a 32" will work great
