  • In this epic adventure we cross the border into Peru, exploring the world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca. Here we encounter the people of the Uros Floating Reed Islands and Tequile island.
    After we head to the ancient Incan capital of Cusco and learn of its Incan and Colonial Past.
    We take a breathtaking hike to the beautiful multicoloured Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley. And finish up in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a hidden mystical valley littered with spectacular Incan Ruins. Join us as we explore one of the most breathtaking parts of South America!

    After a tumultuous journey crossing the border from Bolivia we arrive in the evening to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. The following morning we embark on a ferry to the Uros Islands, a small village of people who live on floating reed islands.
    Lake Titicaca (Tequile Island) 10:30
    After learning about their traditional Aymara and Quechua customs we head to Tequile island, famous for its decorative hats and dances.

    We return to Puno in the evening where we check out the city centre and head to a famous restaurant known as Balcones de Puno for some traditional music and dancing.
    Cusco 19:17
    We arrive early in the ancient Incan capital of Cusco. Here we explore its most ancient temple known as Qorikancha. We learn about its importance to the Incan empire and the effect of Spanish Colonialism on the capital and its culture before heading to the Inka Museum near the famous Plaza de Armas.
    Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Hike 27:44
    We head up into the high Andes where we begin our epic hike at close to 5,000m elevation. Surrounded by stunning glaciers and alpaca farms we reach the famous multicoloured mountain known as ‘Rainbow Mountain’. Afterwards we continue to the even more spectacular and challenging location of the ‘Red Valley’ before returning for a phenomenal traditional lunch.
    Sacred Valley - Pisac 34:53
    From Cusco we head to the famous Sacred Valley, so special to the Incan people it remained a hidden secret from the Spanish conquerors for a long time. After a stop at a Llama and Alpaca farm we head to the breathtaking ruins of Pisac. A military garrison and agricultural centre for the Inca it sits up on a high mountain overlooking the modern village of Pisac which we hike down to and visit afterwards.
    Sacred Valley - Moray & Ollantaytambo 43:04
    We make a brief stop to Moray, the most advanced agricultural centre known to the Incan empire and learn of its phenomenal forward thinking agricultural techniques, more advanced than the western world at the time.
    From here we head to the nearby town of Ollantaytambo, the most famous Military Garrison in the Sacred Valley which serves as the gateway to Machu Picchu. Here we explore the spectacular ancient ruins that lay within the township itself.
