Nobody EVER played this piece like Horowitz. NOBODY!
As a retired piano teacher I always have to smile at Horowitz’ flat fingered style. We were always taught to keep fingers curved. Certainly didn’t hamper his performance now, did it! What a genius. Horowitz playing this glorious Rachmaninoff work is almost too much to take in. Many thanks to whomever posted this.
Wonderful interpretation. Horowitz rightfully owned this work.
What I wouldn’t give to have been there!
Wish I was here.
best. forever.
The composer found the obscure key on the right to bring the finale to a conclusion. This piece debuted on this November day of 28 in 1909 in New York City. My father's favorite composer gave to his mother, Carmen, born on the 25 of June of the year a remembrance for me born in Maryvale, Arizona, on the 22 of November of 1961. I, who came to see John pass through on Montana in the Pass of the Southwest on the 5 of June of 1963, am 😊. Jorge Artalejo, Brooklyn 23
Thank you Georgie, your friend Strati from Park Avenue. 😮
