I put up a preorder for the Dominian War coop game. But my god getting into this game... talk about high prices at times, unavailable essential stuff etc. I may just stick to collecting the Coop packs... And apparently the release of future expansions + availability there is not certain either...
The new faction packs are a bit of a game changer, so I plan on making an updated Buyers guide later this year. That way I can direct new players to the newer content that should be easer to find.
@@Starmada So should I buy into Alliance or Attack Wing? I like to get into games that are still being developed(more support) and I dont want to buy into a dead end.
@@wolftooth6678 Alliance's part 2 and 3 are out/about to come out. Got em on preorder. You could pick those up and part 1 and have a very good coop/solo game. You can also pick up Alliance and a faction pack or 2. And still be set for straightforward PVP. (or just play PVP solo) Can't go wrong with the 3 Alliance sets in any case to have a lot of options. If you only want to play Federation Alliance 1, 2,3 and the Ships of the Line Faction pack allows you to level up the Federation ship into a Sovereign by the end of it most likely.
Back in the day, players could go to game stores to participate in Official Play. The store would order a kit from the company with special rules and also order blind boosters. The store would charge players a small fee I think to participate, and the players would receive a ship in a black box they would then have to incorporate into their fleet. The players got to keep the blind boosters. They were similar to normal expansions but less flashy, no mission, and usually fewer cards. Some were bad, some were good. The Lakota is one of the games most expensive ships and it was a blind booster.

Can someone help me find a Dominion faction pack? No one is selling them and when I do find one, its in the hundreds and also vanishes pretty fast.

To be honest I found this overwhelming. Too many side tangents for beginners. Most of this went over my head.
