Nice.... what type of glue works? (My edge is in vg shape but came loose.) Looks like very little glue was originally used on this carbon-fiber (UpStreet) paddle. Thanks~~~
Hey Chris is your edge guard material specific to BrickHouse paddles. It seems that a paddle with the same thickness yours would work fine. Anyone use your guards on other paddles?
We have lots of orders but can’t honestly tell you the success rate on non Brick House paddles, other than nobody has complained. The major difference is making sure the plastic to plastic bond works. With our paddles the natural wood surface provides a better bonding surface.
@@chrisevans2934 Thanks Chris for getting back so fast. My friend needs the edge guard replaced on his Electrum Pro. He says they won't respond to him. I play my Retro now and again, mostly with some older players who play real soft. Hope things are going well for Brickhouse. It's a tough market out there as you already know I;m sure. Happy Holidays.
In my opinion, it is always good to replace your grip when you remove it. In most cases, the backing tape doesn’t come off cleanly. When you go to reinstall it, you either don’t have enough tape to hold the grid properly or the grip doesn’t align exactly as it came off and is sticky.

CA glue usually works well
THANKS for video... what was the issue with the ORIGINAL Edge Guard / Trim in that it needed to be replaced?
Grip and Edge Guards (trim) are two different things.
@@kimleith1378 sorry, meant to write "what was the issue with the ORIGINAL Edge Guard / Trim in that it needed to be replaced?".
@@Crazy-Roland-vDrums Thought so. The "trim" was on a Electrum Pro.not a BrickHouse. It cracked at the 90 deg edge, not the flat part.
Can you please provide information for type of glue used to replace trim on your paddles
You can use Gorilla instant glue. If you can get the thick or gel it is easier to use.
