African Americans back then tried hard, had talent, had class, and everyone loved them.
The House Band's instrumentals were the best part of the show! Al showing his chops on "Chicken Fat!"
Thank you again, loved "Chicken Fat." The whole series is fantastic but every now and then something leaps out at me.
Until I saw this episode, I thought everything was live, that this was one show that didn't use prerecorded music, but I'm pretty sure the backup singers on "Arrest Me" are taped. Do you know the extent of recordings used on the show?
