Next step for Spider-Man 3 is fully explorable sewage system and metro tunnels, and mini bosses we can encounter sometimes in the placs of random crimes, like i dont want to fight Symbiote Brutes, i want to fight like the Shocker or Mole man or whoever randomly while they rob a bank, get taken to prison break out and do it again.

I knew it, the Hero-Menace system was the one thorn in my side when I played this game, the mediocre story and gameplay was fine but the Hero-Menace system was the nail in the coffin for me, only reasons I played it was that I enjoyed the Superior Spider-Man and Black suit, other suits were just eh and visiting Stan Lee's shop, this game could have turned out great if Activision and Sony weren't bothering Beenox to rush this game out in time for the AMS 2 movie...🤦♂️
It takes 30 minutes of constant sidequests, swinging to sidequest to fill the meter all the way up to heroic and it takes 5 MINUTES to drain it if you just wanna swing around. So you have to do 30 minutes of grinding to swing around freely for less than five minutes. That’s how broken this game is
So I haven't played this game, but is it receiving the same kind of hate as say Arkham Origins because it didn't move things forward enough or did it actually move backwards? Because Origins was a great game, it just didn't live up to expectations.
This was the first spider man game i ever played an i had fun as a 8 year old who just liked to press x and could barley put both of his hands around the controller. It was a fun game looking back at it now considering i still have the disc and the game can probably go for a couple hundred dollars to the right person. I think this game is still pretty cool. I mean you have manual healing you have a slingshot for crazy speed. Yea guess what sony sling shot move with insane speed was done back in 2013 on the xbox so dont act like u invented that. Anyways considering its the last spiderman game ever released on xbox and probably will be until sony somehow loses all its money and has to sell its assets. I think this game is still a great 6.5/10. Why is that u may ask. B/c the webs dont actually stick to the buildings you can literally swing from nothing literally air gain height with no buildings so its extremly unrealistic. The meance system i hated a lot as well. Also the story kinda went all over the place as well so...

I enjoyed amazing Spider-Man two video game more than you did though Matty, I didn’t really run into as much problems with it as you seem to have, but like I said, I didn’t love it either. to me the amazing Spider-Man games were just fun Spider-Man games to pass the time, they both had the potential to be so much more
@chr0n1cle55 ooohhhh I'll have to look later. It makes sense to me seeing as they're big on 60+ skins. That's literally what it is. We don't need stories for all of them but give us some good stories with some large scale battles.
@FardEditz not really, it's just an expansion. I don't really care about "playing" as every character. But having new villains and spideys as their own NPC would be great. They pretty much moved in that direction already with over 60 skins
i agree the hero and menace system was a bad idea putting in carnage and not venom in the game wasn't a good idea i mean they fix that idea with the mobile game version of tasm2
I know Spiderman is in better hands with Insomniac and PlayStation, but damn do I miss playing Spiderman games. Crazy to think this was the last Spiderman game for all consoles before PlayStation took the licensing.
I remember liking this game up until the hero/menace system made it so that the web-swinging would get constantly interrupted. The rate at which you have to partake in repetitive and uninteresting events to prevent this from happening makes the game unplayable. This one decision makes it one of my least favorite games of all time.
But I just wonder why the actors of the movie never voiced acted these games like the raimi series did with maguire, winslet and willem dafoe and on with the series 😊
I was so hyped by the leaks, the leaks looked sooo good bro I don't know what happened. I remember finally playing the game and Spider-Man looked like a lump of brightly colored clay. God, and what they did with the reporter lady from the first game was almost criminal.
Only Spider Man game I never finished. The game was too damn boring. The swinging was lifeless and the graphics were a downfall from what they showed in the trailers. I’m more sad to see that Spider Man 3 came at the start of 7th generation and this came out at the very end and Spider Man 3 is a much better game than this in every way. Sad to see how the last game by Activision was so mid.
For PS4 standards, this looks god-awful. The city looks so empty, and I think it would piss me off that my reputation goes down just because I don’t do the Optional Missions.
The story in this game is absolutely garbage, but I feel like other than that it was an improvement over the first game. Both of them in my book are terrible games, but if you were going to force me to just swing around the city in either game, I'd pick this one. The first game's choice to move the camera so close to Spider-Man felt so awful. The web swinging felt way too simple, and the web rush felt like a massive gimmick in both games, but especially so in the first one. This game's swinging was far from perfect, but it was much more enjoyable than the first game. The use of the two triggers, when it flowed the way it was supposed to, felt fairly satisfying. The combat in this one also felt like a big step up, even if it was still a blatant Arkham clone that was much less polished. Unfortunately for both games, the city itself feels pretty empty, even with the collectibles. I'd blame it on the 360/PS3 hardware, but there are games predating this one that prove it's doable. I do want to reiterate that I genuinely believe both TASM games are awful, and that anyone who thinks otherwise has a clouded view, but the first has a better story, the second better mechanics
Man I remember the hype building up to this game with all the news about them tweaking the webswinging and making it supposedly better than the first, not to mention it was going to feature my favorite Spider-Man villain Carnage...

Makes me wonder if the deal was already in place for Spiderman 2018 to be made and the developers knew this was the last spidey game they’d make
I personally want a spiderverse theme coming into SM2. Some people think its too much, those people are incorrect.
Watch the recent trailer, u can see a spider verse effect happening in some scenes after u collect a spider bot
@chr0n1cle55 ooohhhh I'll have to look later. It makes sense to me seeing as they're big on 60+ skins. That's literally what it is. We don't need stories for all of them but give us some good stories with some large scale battles.
It wouldn’t fit. Maybe a DLC or separate game but not in the main story
@@356z yup it's interesting and adds more lore to the spider verse
@FardEditz not really, it's just an expansion. I don't really care about "playing" as every character. But having new villains and spideys as their own NPC would be great. They pretty much moved in that direction already with over 60 skins
They need to get rid of the car chases 😭
i agree the hero and menace system was a bad idea putting in carnage and not venom in the game wasn't a good idea i mean they fix that idea with the mobile game version of tasm2
HOW AM I JUST FINDING YOUR CHANNEL IM OBSESSED WITH YOUR VIDEOS
Awesome to hear you're a KFBF !
The only thing i want from this game in MSM2 is the spider carnage suit.
Dude that was literally my main hatred for this game and the swinging feels like u just start falling at the end of each one there’s no momentum
I played the crap out of the demo for this game on 3DS but never bought it lol
My only problem with this game is amazing spiderman 2 horrible costume design because how can they fuck up good looking outfit
But I just wonder why the actors of the movie never voiced acted these games like the raimi series did with maguire, winslet and willem dafoe and on with the series 😊
Saying this was the worst one is crazy , u get better suits, the hideout stealth side missions, the animations the upgrades all type of shii
I was so hyped by the leaks, the leaks looked sooo good bro I don't know what happened. I remember finally playing the game and Spider-Man looked like a lump of brightly colored clay. God, and what they did with the reporter lady from the first game was almost criminal.
So basically this game is all about living while black with the task force
This is nice can,t wait for SPIDERMAN 2 ON PS5
I liked this game. I have for PS4. There's only a handful of PS3 games with the blue label on top. I have Watchdogs.
This game felt like a mobile port😅
Is it me more or did I remember this being higher quality?
The side missions are more important then main missions💀
Only Spider Man game I never finished. The game was too damn boring. The swinging was lifeless and the graphics were a downfall from what they showed in the trailers. I’m more sad to see that Spider Man 3 came at the start of 7th generation and this came out at the very end and Spider Man 3 is a much better game than this in every way. Sad to see how the last game by Activision was so mid.
this game sould join forces with gollum and skull island
ITS ABOUT TIMEE WOOOOOO
Black Cat a baddie in this one tho ngl 😶🌫
Do a video on the incredible hulk ultimate destruction
The worst part is admitting you listened to Kinda Funny, those dudes Kinda Suck, especially Greg 😂😂
Idc I enjoyed this game when I was younger
For PS4 standards, this looks god-awful. The city looks so empty, and I think it would piss me off that my reputation goes down just because I don’t do the Optional Missions.
I own it on PC, the port is broken and it was never fixed
ah my first ever ps4 game
Spider-Man 2 from ps2 created the the dodging mechanics first not Batman Arkham asylum….
I do want to reiterate that I genuinely believe both TASM games are awful, and that anyone who thinks otherwise has a clouded view, but the first has a better story, the second better mechanics
i heard that there was some development issues, thats why the game feels incomplete
yeah and the game was also rushed
