Dr. Novartis and the 13 factories, that's something we'll come back to again and again. Why does the society have such radically advanced technology from everyone else? If it were any other story, the reason would be "so that the bad guys are a bigger threat, and the plot has more tension", but because it's trails, the reason is both increasing the tension of the plot, and because of a very, very good reason which you won't be told of for a very long time. Just keep playing the games, you philistine!
"Josette's a great support. She'd be a big help in the coming battles." Okay, Estelle, I get you're trying to be nice, but that's a lie and you know it. Josette's essentially that one Fire Emblem character you recruit at the end of the game who joins unpromoted, and with no remarkable base stats or growths.

In the hidden files of this game, Richard and Kanone were considered to be playable characters at one point. They have their own profile art, battle sprites, and battle portraits (including high, mid, and low HP sprites). It would've been cool to see them playable.

The shiny poms here give an absurd amount of exp even by shiny pom standards. You can find a large group of them from the giant squid ememies and get the max amount of exp even for Joshua and Estelle at their current level. If you want to farm them and level up the rest of your party, I suggest getting death scream on joshua and ideally whoever you decide to bring ( they can rock a lower level insta-kill spell if you don’t have the time quartz necessary). Plus you can buy all the high end quartz like the ruby, sapphire, and gold gems from the online shops at the stations with all the septith you’ll get.
Yup, it's why the Liberl army managed to beat the Empire in the 100 days war. Erebonians are very constrained thinkers, they're a massive land empire, so they see warfare in terms of massive land armies, and this advances to how they think about other kinds of combat too. This is why Liberl always has the edge when it comes to air-ships. Liberl is the only country that really understands the impetus of air superiority: speed, range and quick strike ability. The other nations don't build air ships, they build flying tanks.
To burst your bubble a bit Nico, your basically at the homestretch at getting every character's Crafts. So the ones they learn are their new signature S-Crafts for this game. Get ready for Enforcer fight round 2. I know I did. Totally did not go back and forth farming Shiny Poms until everyone was around expected level with proper gear and full slot quartz made for them. I definitely did not put in like an extra couple of hours to do that. Not me. Nope. Also totally did not go up and down the tower with the proper people for the boss without the Cloak quartz equipped................I really made it harder than it should

Weissman explains that the experiments were designed to prove that the new Gospels were perfect replicas of the originals, but the game never explains the purpose of each experiment. The easiest experiment to explain is Renne’s, which was designed to ensure that their own technology wouldn’t be affected by the Shutdown Phenomenon caused by the Aureole. However, the rest are vaguer. Walter’s experiment likely had to do with the Gospel’s ability to interact with the Septium Veins. Just as Walter's machine produced earthquakes by altering the Veins, the Ahnenburg and the Tetracyclic Towers extract energy from them to seal the Aureole. Loewe and Luciola’s experiments probably dealt with the mind-altering capabilities of the Aureole. In the Data Crystals, it was mentioned that “the Aureole facilitated the creation of virtual realities intended to induce euphoria in participants,” which aligns with Luciola’s dreams. It also said, “one of our comrades fell victim to the sweet seduction of the Aureole's euphoric simulations, and he was lost to us,” possibly similar to the dragon’s case. The hardest experiment to explain is, without a doubt, Bleublanc’s. It might be related to the ability to project those “rails of light” for the flying trains, which resembles Bleublanc’s projections. Very low tbh, Trails FC was just short enough, considered basically half of a game and with a great cliffhanger to go for next game right away. Meanwhile, 3rd would just happen if Nico really got full fanboy mode, let's hope we don't need to wait more than a year for it, and if we're lucky he might do Crossbell's Saga together like FC and SC here.
Yeah I think unlikely, but not impossible. 3rd is also a decent bit shorter than SC, which increases the chances some, but... I think there will be a break. He probably has something else he wants to start too.
Really unlikely, in fact I don't think Nico has EVER done 3 games of the same series back to back to back, even with kingdom hearts there was at least 1 or 2 other play through between games after the first couple. Edit: I stand corrected, Kingdom Hearts is the only series he's a actually done 3 or more games back to back of (he actually did 4 of them). Depending on whether or not you consider Torna the Golden Country and Future connected seperate games he also technically did 4 in a row of Xenoblade.

For instance, when we first met Kloe she was not the crown princess of Liberl, a fact Richard tried to use in FC to force the Queen to abdicate to put Dunan in charge (which is why an emphasis was put on Kloe becming crown princess when she rejoined the party). Presumably Olivier is not the crown prince as he mentioned he is a bastard.

The data crystals recontextualizes a lot of what happened in the last game, especially the final dungeon and boss. The former was in fact an underground facility created by Celeste D Auslese to form the first seal of the Aureole, and it was mazelike on purpose to lose intruders; while the latter was a robot sent by the Aureole to destroy the facility, and that this particular one broke into its depth when the Aureole was sealed and he was shut down, and when Richard broke the seal, it reactivated, resuming it's mission to destroy the place and everyone in it (it also mention how there were several of them, which is why Ouroboros got their hands on one as we saw in their base)
fun fact, when kloe canished, she actually clipped 1 floor down, not sure if its the PC port and higher FPS, but she is on the lower floor and can trigger a fight if an enemy hit her.

Now that it's finally been revealed that the Aureole is the Sept-Terrion of Space, I'd like to mention a little bit of foreshadowing that unfortunately (yet understandably) had to get localized out of the English version. Because in the Japanese version, the Space element is called the "Sora" element. That probably sounds weird at first (why is it called the sky element?) until you realize that "sora" in japanese doesn't technically just mean "sky." 空 _(sora),_ the kanji used in the game's title, also refers to one of the five _godai,_ the classical elements in Japanese Buddhism, referring to the idea of "the aether" or "void." It represents the empty space where energy, human creativity, and other forces beyond our comprehension reside: things that cannot be seen, yet influence us regardless. In that sense, it is the element of "emptiness" (hence, space) and spirituality, and this is reflected in what we know of the Aureole's powers. It is a force of raw creativity, capable of creating imagined spaces that provide people with the kinds of physical, mental, and spiritual fulfillment that they desire. And yet, in doing this, it robbed these people of their own creativity and ability to create bonds and connections with each other, leading to the decision to seal it away. When you take this meaning with the other meaning of Kiseki as "miracle," you get the hidden title of the game: "The Miracle of Emptiness." Referring to the Aureole, its domain, and the world that it sought to create for the ancient Zemurians in the distant past. Of course, this also connects to the main themes of the game.
If you get upset with Josette, Julia, and Mueller only turns playable at this point, they add this on PSP version as well as teasing Trails in The Sky the 3rd. With Kevin and Anelace, these three are your early party members on the 3rd story. The 3rd basically gives you another set of party members that have more screentime beside the OG eight of FC. With SC addition of Kevin and co, you have currently 5 new gang and the other 3 will be filled up as new chars on the 3rd (please anyone don't spoil even if you know who or argue the character is already existing). As a bonus you can guess the Orbment elements since we will have 2 of each elements + 1 free element like Estelle's orbment.
I mean if you want an extended scene on each Enforcers fight, yeah you need the characters associated with them My guess is the orders are the same as the ones in the towers If your guess about Loewe is correct then I advise you on bringing Agate 🤔🤔🤔
Sorry, Nico. Because you missed those chests you’ve been locked out of true ending. That’s right, in order to unlock the true ending you had to open those chests, then talk to Dorothy no less and no more than 40 times. Then use up all your mira; talk to Tita to exhaust her new dialogue; get an item from one of the Royal Guards; use that item on one of the tram terminals; go back to those chests and sit on the chest message screen of each for 12 hours as you watch the extended editions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy in reverse before filing your taxes. Only then is the true ending unlocked. Oh and since you didn’t get it, the game will delete all your saves and you’ll have to replay it from the start. Should have paid more attention to the spoiler free guide, Nico. Thems the brakes

Now that it's finally been revealed that the Aureole is the Sept-Terrion of Space, I'd like to mention a little bit of foreshadowing that unfortunately (yet understandably) had to get localized out of the English version. Because in the Japanese version, the Space element is called the "Sora" element. That probably sounds weird at first (why is it called the sky element?) until you realize that "sora" in japanese doesn't technically just mean "sky."
空 _(sora),_ the kanji used in the game's title, also refers to one of the five _godai,_ the classical elements in Japanese Buddhism, referring to the idea of "the aether" or "void." It represents the empty space where energy, human creativity, and other forces beyond our comprehension reside: things that cannot be seen, yet influence us regardless. In that sense, it is the element of "emptiness" (hence, space) and spirituality, and this is reflected in what we know of the Aureole's powers. It is a force of raw creativity, capable of creating imagined spaces that provide people with the kinds of physical, mental, and spiritual fulfillment that they desire. And yet, in doing this, it robbed these people of their own creativity and ability to create bonds and connections with each other, leading to the decision to seal it away.
When you take this meaning with the other meaning of Kiseki as "miracle," you get the hidden title of the game: "The Miracle of Emptiness." Referring to the Aureole, its domain, and the world that it sought to create for the ancient Zemurians in the distant past. Of course, this also connects to the main themes of the game.
If you get upset with Josette, Julia, and Mueller only turns playable at this point, they add this on PSP version as well as teasing Trails in The Sky the 3rd. With Kevin and Anelace, these three are your early party members on the 3rd story.
The 3rd basically gives you another set of party members that have more screentime beside the OG eight of FC. With SC addition of Kevin and co, you have currently 5 new gang and the other 3 will be filled up as new chars on the 3rd (please anyone don't spoil even if you know who or argue the character is already existing).
As a bonus you can guess the Orbment elements since we will have 2 of each elements + 1 free element like Estelle's orbment.

Sorry, Nico. Because you missed those chests you’ve been locked out of true ending. That’s right, in order to unlock the true ending you had to open those chests, then talk to Dorothy no less and no more than 40 times. Then use up all your mira; talk to Tita to exhaust her new dialogue; get an item from one of the Royal Guards; use that item on one of the tram terminals; go back to those chests and sit on the chest message screen of each for 12 hours as you watch the extended editions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy in reverse before filing your taxes. Only then is the true ending unlocked. Oh and since you didn’t get it, the game will delete all your saves and you’ll have to replay it from the start. Should have paid more attention to the spoiler free guide, Nico. Thems the brakes
