Please can people stop saying this is my idea and 3Bros and Alex have stole it. We both came up with different ways of making them work and I really like the tuning rod idea!
Also I don’t think mine will be mass produced like these as they rely on specific material properties which means the print times are a bit too long for me to make many of them.
Please enjoy the video and be happy that you can actually buy this style of insert. I love mine and they have transformed my crawling and I hope other people are going to reap the benefits of super stiff sidewalls for sidehilling with the softest grip you can imagine for getting over stuff

We are very excited about these new Anti-Foams. We have been working on this design for over 2 years now, and through a lot of testing we finally have something we believe will make a big difference in the RC world. This product is 100% made in the USA and even the special filament we use is made here in the USA.

Would AntiFoams resist ballooning at speed? That would be great for bashers in a size for vehicles like the Slash.

These remind me of the memory foams I’ve used in the past, but without the sidewall roll. Are any chances of other sizes being introduced? I’d love to try these for my 1.9 rigs that that run 4.20” and 3.85” tires as well as in the 2.2’s my Comp and Night Crawlers!

The age of thermoplastics and 3Dprinting is revolutionizing the RC WORLD...fantastic product !
And if in one hand we see companies pushing inovation and engineering to a all new level, on the other, average "Joe's" experiment different approaches to the same problem.
Ever tried hair buns as tire inserts?
    Cheers mate

Yep! I've been using TPU tire inserts of my own design and creation for a couple years now. It's a little more pricey but the Colorfab 'Varioshore' is great for this. They work better than traditional foams in every way. Waterproof and infinitely tunable. If you have a 3D printer make your own and experiment with infil patterns and inner and outer diameter. Totally kicks ass.

This will be the standard for soo many reasons.
      So yeah …You’ve done well.
I’m just curious to the advantages with 1/8 scales and bigger /faster as in speed or rotational effects etc . And if it will (or can with the right design) fix ballooning & at a even cheaper option/way other than radials/belted ?. 🤔.
It’s spurred me to print some up for 1/8 scales to try out .

Once you get enough for a few pairs of tires you should do stock foam vs anti foam vs anti foam with tuning rods. Things like max side hill and frontal hill angles would be interesting to compare, especially using the same car with very similar wheels and rims (if not the same wheels/rims if you have multiples 😂)

Looking at these inverts but have a 5.5 mud slinger and their inverts fall on the small and big size
I don’t want too hard nor do I want a loose sloppy fit
    What would you pick?
Any other manufacturers you’d recommend with the correct insert?
Thanks for all the great content !!!

Put some baby powder on them before you put them in the tires so the two rubbers are not gripping and squeaking on each other. Just an idea.

Why go heavier/stiffer in the front? Crawlers are always soft in front stiffer in back, from my experience at least. Just curious cause I’m ordering some so trying to get a base tune. Just 7lb rig

@@3brothersrc418 I really shouldn’t of criticized the price- as a company you have overhead, warranty, advertising, and much more. They do definitely seem to be exactly what we’ve been trying to get from dual stage foams for years and I know I have several $80 range sets of those. That sweet spot of softness without the sidewall rolling on a sidehill. I just feel I’m missing out on not having a printer in the hobby at this stage. So many companies putting out the files and I don’t have the ability to make my own stuff like this foam concept, heads, light buckets, etc. I’m just plain missing out.

    • @3brothersrc418
      @3brothersrc418 3 роки тому

@@The_RC_Guru Actually I am right there with you. I run the company but would love to get a printer for myself and see what I can create. Just like I used to build from scratch all my crawlers. I do just not have the time anymore. Meanwhile 3d printing is just getting better and better for those that do have the time.

I run proline dual stage and with aluminum beadlocks you have to glue the inner beadlock ring to the foam to keep the foam from shifting laterally on the inner ring, did you have to do that with the anti foams? Did you get any lateral shift on the inner beadlock ring at all?

Just started running these and noticed when I vent the tire at 12 and 6 some times the tires act vented, sometimes they act like they’re not vented. Wondering if it’s the smooth edge against the vent. Granted this was in class 0 tires with class 1 sized anti foams, but did you have any issue venting these?

As I said in a previous comment Joseph (just scalin') and I had a very good conversation after I saw his video. We were already working on the release and I wanted to let him know I wasn't copying him. I have had people testing versions of anti foams for over two years now.
