Finally a truck I own! I love mine. Upgraded metal transmission. And stock servo sucked but it's great now.
What batterys do you use? I also have one but still running on the nimh and not sure if to get a few 2s or 3s lipo?

Budget crawler is quite capable. I think the Remo is a bit better. I think all it needs is more weight in it. For competition to the Trx4 don’t forget about Red Cat Racing they have some really good crawlers.

I want a crawler so bad, I can't even get in a vehicle because of back surgeries and spinal implant just got over cancer all I want to do is drive RC cars. Your videos are awesome I hope you never stop!

I have this one already Kev, I prefer the TRX-4. Once you get the TRX-4 dialed in the machine goes just about anywhere.
I have had that trans for a few years and it's okay for a simple trans. Recently got a flysky fs gt3b and have set it up with my crawler but have not taken it out yet... but the reviews for the price seems like a good deal.
Hey Kev, you should try the vrx racing cobra. It is a dirt cheap brushless motor vehicle.

I know you like crawlers, you have to get yourself a redcat gen 8. Comes with portal axles. Much cheaper than a traxxas

Epic video its like the ecx barrage but i think the rgt is bigger i need to order one
trucks are great, love the tires. need stiffer foams but performs very well and durable.
rgt center of gravity is much better, I only used brass wheel hex on front and rgt climbs steeper than my trx or gen 8
I wonder if you can buy wheel weights for these?

Spot on about that radio - the Arrma radios are a weakness to some otherwise awesome cars... on the bright side, a cheap Chinese radio is a legit upgrade
They have some nice hard plastic bodies on bangood that i tried out. Get one of those u wont get dissapointed 👍👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺

I think the RGT EX86100 won because of its preformance and cheap price although you have to put some weight redist in the fron and black sso it doesn't jump around on high speed staircase crawling

I have this crawler and my dad actually has the trx4 and i keep up with him through just about everything and some things I do better in and all I’ve done is puts tires and a different motor on it

Ya on previous video i saw that rgt it was jeep rubicon the only issue is no running board if you climb on rock the side of body shell will broke

Exactly the same as an FTX outback Fury for the same price as well, the only difference is the FTX has a different motor and steering servo, great videos though keep it up
Upgrade suspension and tires and it would have made it up things a bit easier

Kev kev kev now if you really watch lol it was not a fair comparison. The first one yours went over the steepest part of the pavement. The stairs if you watch his went to the side of the steps which is easier and the stump he used part of the stump for more traction lol.. Oh and to some it's a plus to have headlights and less money out of the pocket. So that all and all brother is how you look at it. 😁😁

I’ve just purchased the same crawler with land cruiser body. Steering servo isn’t the best, actually struggles. What would you suggest as a replacement? Please provide an option of waterproof and non.

my crawler has a 55 turn motor thats has monster torque and i can go so slow that the car doesnt make any noise from anything. only the tires on the rocks

I have one of these and they are really good they are cheap but preform really good
I got my frist Traxxas slash 2wd 2years ago and yesterday i drove it and hit a rock just right that is sent it head over heel or bumper over bumper and destroyed ever gear in the dif the body i had painted myself in 4 days and all the shocks and body post and the brand new traxxas servo that i had just put on. Atleast it was time for a rebuild any way
If u are woundering why i put back in a traxxas servo i did because i had another one already and i am looking for a good servo < only reson i have not done rebuild yet
