- This is the story of how I got 5th place in the world for hoop dancing in 2019. I went to the Heard Museum World Hoop Competition in Phoenix, Arizona. This was my 6th year competing.
I was really focused on the competition this year so I didn't get to record as much like I do for my other vlogs, but I'm happy I was able to get what footage I did. It was a great weekend with so many other great hoop dancers.

I agree. Smiles are contagious and cost nothing and his here shows his great joy just for dancing and for being there! One of the nicest things said during my daughter’s Celebration of Life service was “When I picture Laura she is smiling because it seems she was always smiling!” Much love 💕🐝💕🇺🇸

Hi Patrick!!! I lost my Brother a year ago...he was my last family member. The corona virus has had me in self quarentine as I am allergic to so many medications,so I am trying to be safe. That said,I have been very depressed and this morning I felt like I really needed to cry. I wtched sad videos and listened to sad music,but nothing. So I decided to watch uplifting things. You never know who you'll meet. July 4, 2020... President Bill Clinton shopping for jewelry at their gift shop. My daughter suspected something was up because men in suits (100° plus temperatures) had white curly earbud wires.

Phoenix was my last city of residence. Cool to see The Heard again. I attended some great powwows and dancers when I volunteered at The Anerican Indian Center in Chicago and it felt like forever ago. I don't remember hoop dancing this intricate. I kinda miss smile-crying at every Grand Entry.
Your smile, authentic happiness, and that kick (!) made your presence in the present palpable - to all there and everyone before you.
