I’ve lived in the Los Angeles area all my life and have a home in Pasadena 12 miles north of where this video was shot. Some areas of Los Angeles are nice but you were in the sketchy part.
I’ll be on the Southwest Chief leaving for Chicago tomorrow night. I do like the Union Station Lounge! Friendly Amtrak staff.

Only one tent on that freeway over pass?! Did they clean up the place? Used to be full of tents.
Also would you do this walk late at night? Or would that be too dangerous

I got the sense that it could be slightly unnerving at night but would *probably* be ok

@@T1DWanderer I was actually in downtown LA for Nye 2019. I remember seeing paramedics putting a body in body bag on this over pass. Really set the tone for 2020 lol. There were like a dozen tents there. Perhaps they all ODed in the years since?
