You can see in his eyes..He loves being loved by the crowd & Stuart loved them right back. When he looks into the crowd (hard to do with the Lights) He is actually looking for faces to see if they are enjoying the show almost minute by minute..sec by sec. He really cared...perhaps too much in the end.
Rod Downing, I've noticed that about Stuart Adamson, too...his eyes were always shifting from one person to the next in the crowd even back in his earlier days with Big Country... there was a great love between Stuart & the crowds & he was enjoying every second of it.....I find that very unique & very special about the man....I feel very privileged to have been able to attend one of their concerts at The Fox Theater in Atlanta on March 13, 1984...I still have the ticket stub...it was a full house & their performance was spectacular! RIP Stuart Adamson...you're sorely missed.
Stuart always said that BC's songs belong to the fans as much as the band. With that in mind, I am absolutely FLOORED that the crowd carried the song for nearly 2 mins at 4:33 and stayed pitch perfect on key.
Miss the jams Stuarty in brig o allan and pre skid days . love ye silly egit. long ago wi a load o guid lads havin the laugh. awe the lads are doin their things. what a waste of a good man. a lovely man; and heres me thowin fish at folk in kelty. makes a change fae coal . What's with the "Restless Natives" graphic at 0:15? Was the director misinformed about the name of band? And, yes, I know that BC did the soundtrack for the film of that name and that that name appeared on some subsequent releases.

Pretty much every Big Country gig, the crowd goes mad! True emotion, true music.
