Nice one Jof, another job to add to my list 😀 I was forever catching the blinds in the bedroom when I turn over in bed! We cut two pieces of cardboard the width/height of the window casing and covered both sides with the silver insulation foil. Attached four small strips of Velcro in the corners of the board and blind casing. They work a treat and keep the bedroom warm, easily removed to open the windows etc. Toasty!

Great ideas there. Might look at this for under our bed as 1/2 is on top of the water tank, and 1/2 on top of the garage, albeit the garage is heated.

Hi Jof, a great idea, but are you not concerned about possible condensation between original board and insulation?
We did discuss this, and will monitor how it progresses, there is not a massive temperature difference between the garage area and the Hab area so hopefully not going to cause any issues.👌
