I drive Audi 2017 A4 2.0L. Quattro and I had to rent this exactly same car same colour when I was travelling for the last two weeks and to be honest the only reason why I wanted to look at the review of such a car is when I drove it I felt about 40% connection with my Audi, but you guys know the price difference there for those of you with a lower budget this is an amazing sedan
the auto-stop wasn't really annoying just weird, had my car for 2 months now and i'm so used to it it don't bother me. i live in mid west and it was perfect for me in the warm months. i absolutely love this car!!
Till your starter dies from the constant startup every time you stop at stop signs. I throw my car in L and set gear to 6, don’t have to worry about the stupid auto stop
I own a 2017 hatchback LT model and the only way to turn off the auto stop is to put the shifter down to L mode and use the + to move the numbers up to 6 on the display, that disables the auto stop
I'm getting one of these this week trading in my gas guzzling truck. Every says that the Honda and Toyota I'll have more features this and that the Honda Civic I think has cameras in the Sideview mirrors but if you're looking for something that's basic pretty much and get you to and from where you got to go with good gas mileage.you really can't beat it in my opinion now it is the more electronics and more all the additives stuff you're going to run into more problems fixing it down the road so if you're looking for really something that really snazzy and fancy that has all the extras you're better off getting a more expensive car to begin with
It's very similar to a Camry ride, yet get gas mileage of a Corolla. I own them cars both before and now have 2017 Cruze LT. It is even quitter the a 2016 Civic LX...which I have also own before as well. In short, it's a compact car with mide side car ride..smooth and quite.
I bought a used Chevy 2016 Cruz off a used car lot. I was so happy for a while. (I had a 2002 Ford Focus and it was falling apart). I drove it around town the next day on the freeway and could not find the cruse control...huh???🤷🏼♀️?? I drove back to the dealership and 2 of the employees looked at the dashboard too. I talked to the salesman about it....he laughed at me!!! I told him that I needed the device because of my issue of my back driving long distance. I called the corporate office of the missing cruse control device... they said that year they didn't put it in!!! Why not? They didn't know either😡 WHAT A STUPID thing that Chevrolet did that!!!!... I'll never buy Chevy car again.👎🏻
You must have purchased the L model which it does not have cruise control nor radio volume/tune icon on the steering wheel. You want that feature, go for the LT model. I just bought a 2017 Cruze LT and it comes with, keyless Remote start, Power Driver seat, Heated Seat, and alloy wheels. Nice car and gets great gas mileage per gallon...averaging 40MPG with 70% freeway and 30% citiy.
In all honesty, I prefer the interior and exterior styling of the previous generation Cruze; for me it look more mature, more upscale than the rest of the competition. This car is guilty of the same thing that all the other compacts are doing - it's trying to be something it's not. This is not a sports car, nor will it ever be, but it and others like the Corolla, Civic, Focus, etc are all trying to go for style over substance. I'd rather take the more minimal and sophisticated looks and layout of the German cars (say the Golf or Jetta) over the flash and glitz of these faux sports car-like designs. That said, however, I do believe that this Cruze will continue to compete well in the compact segment because it's appealing to a greater number of parties. Great video, cheers!
I get it it’s not a sports car but it looks good for some of us that want a reg car and don’t want average look of ev other reg car! I love it and I think Chevy is king there cars look cool even if it’s not a sport why should cars stay in past looking basic
no it still shuts off however it keeps track of temperature inside and when it sees a certain temp it starts back up. the actual fan still runs and blows cool air at a slower speed.
MyNoble06, the engine will not stop if the A/C is running. I own a 2017 Cruze Premium and have experimented with the AutoStop feature. See my message above to kn7gez.
nunya bizznizz I have a 2016 cruze premium and I can say for certain that it does shut off at a light if it meets the requirements. I've had it do it in august and July on multiple occasions.
It doesn't do it all the time as I said it monitors temperature inside and out and various other factors and I does shut of some times. If you hit the ac to the green led/eco mode 9t will shut off more frequently.
I bought a 2017 Cruze two weeks ago. I can tell you that the AutoStop feature does not interfere at all with air conditioning function. If the a/c is set to either the Normal or MaxCool mode, AutoStop is disabled; the engine will continue to run. It's a really helpful feature and although it cannot be disabled completely, it's function is useful and unobtrusive.
Dear car customers around the world: I bought a brand new Chevy Cruze, manual transmission, on December 10, 2016. One day after (December 11, 2016), while the car was parked at the curb, it rolled down the road hitting another car on its way down. I am sure that I had engaged the parking brake, indicated by the “!” symbol displayed in red on the instrument panel. I’ve been raising to General Motors Corporation (GMC) this question - why is it that the said Cruze, in neutral transmission, rolled down the slope even though the parking brake symbol, “!” (in red color), is displayed on the car’s instrument panel? The GMC explained that: “by design intent, the parking brake warning lamp on the instrument panel (!) will illuminate with the brake lever is raised to the first detent position (first audible click). However, this warning is not an indicator that the parking brake has been fully engaged. Specifically, the Chevrolet Cruze Owner’s Manual Instructs the owner to pull firmly (on the lever) without pressing the release button, in order to engaged the parking brake correctly. The primary purpose of illuminating the park brake warning lamp, even when the parking brake is not fully engaged, is to prevent the operator from driving the vehicle with parking brakes partially engaged.” (letter sent to me by GMC dated April 11, 2017). I disagree with the above explanation by GMC. I maintain that a technical deficiency persists between the engagement of parking brakes with respect to the warning light (!). The Cruze Owner’s Manual does not state anything related to partially-engaged and fully-engaged parking brakes with same warning light (!) displayed on the instrument panel. I am submitting GMC’s explanation, as quoted above, for your views and comments. Thank you and drive safely. Do you believe GMC's explanation?
Don't buy the base model if you expect to keep it, it's too cheaply made inside. The opposite is true if you're looking for a cheap second hand car. These are avout 3 years old now, and lost their value fast yet the engine sips sips gas while being reasonably powerful.
VERY GOOD REVIEW! Most people do not cover everything you covered and you did so in a very short time. Good job and thank you for your work!

I just got a 2016 and I love it. But I had cars that I had to jump start every morning so I got this one.

It's been almost 1 yr and I still love it as much as I did the day i got it!!

Bought mine, very happy with the car
Just got the 2017 lt cruze and im very amazed
I just bought a Cruz in May 2024. I love it. Mine has heated seats! lol 😂
i wonder how it is in the winter
These new Cruzes are going for 12999.99 for the LS trim and leases are going for 109 a month for 24 months with 24k miles. Total bargain of a car.
Chris L not bad at all
Better-than-average, helpful review.
very thorough and informative, thank you :)

Could you compare the ride to Toyota Camry( 2018 or older)(or Buick century) ?
Would you describe it as cushioned, firm, rough?
Thanks

Is the Auto-Stop enginge feature is really that annoying? And how confortable is the cruze if someone lives in a warm city?
Winged Yoshi iit the car is calling for AC it keeps running as normal. On a hot day it keeps running.
Why is the service time 9 months and not 12 months?
Is it reliable?

I owned the 2013 model. Tbh this new one looks great xD
KyleTVProductions No doubt, it does look very nice, and drives even better than it looks - I simply prefer the looks of the previous one, that's all.

Might be my next car. Not 100% sure yet.
Does engine stay running at stop if AC cooling?

Looks a lot like my 2006 Toyota Corolla that I have had for 10 years and sill going strong.
Teresa Hobbs oh no toyota is fugly, not even close
there compacts aren't known for reliability that be a negative
No good for AZ. Imagine sitting in traffic not moving in 115 outside.

Do you believe GMC's explanation?
Why would you not have left the car in gear as well as "properly" setting the parking brake?
why would you not turn your wheels towards the curb?
2016 vs all
Nice car but I'm loving my 16 Civic

Would've been nice if this were in english
Bols Repus we'll ask our staff to make a video in english. Thank you. ua-cam.com/video/KtVmeh1wBno/v-deo.html
Thanks. I would definitely like to know more about how to disable this 'auto stop/start' since I plan on getting a Cruze in the near future.
