Street speed 717 nice to see you commenting on a video I pulled up. I love my 2014 but next year I’m looking for a change. The one like this by me has the back up system and and blind spot protection 23 thousand miles asking 13,500 not bad. I may have to jump on it before it sells :-)

My local dealership did a one night presentation for the newly redesigned 2016 Cruze. I checked it out and it is an over all improvement in many ways. Was able to test drive it. I liked the features that the car had. Keyless entry and push button start. Nicely redesigned exterior. The interior layout is well done. Glad Chevy has not gone all computerized dash like many other cars are going. Too much graphics can be distracting. It also has an eco mode for the A/C as well. They also redesign the hood access. Two pulls of the interior release latch and you don't have to stand in front of the car feeling for the final lever. Just raise the hood. And they increased the horse power as well. So lots of get up and go compared to the "out going" model/engine".
It's pretty amazing how good all these entry level cars have gotten. The only problem is that all cars sold in the U.S. start at such high prices. The average young person can't buy a new car anymore.
TRUE! Or they ask to put so much down like 4,500-5,000 down at signing to make the payments less and I'm like and where am I suppose to get that money up front from????
GM really knocking it out of the park with its next gen mid size and eco cars. Solid exterior looks with much nicer interiors and features! Toyota and Nissan should be taking notes when it comes to interiors! Great review!
Nice looking car! One of the biggest pluses of this car should be the fact that it's one of the few cars in its class with a traditional step-gear automatic. I'm not a fan of CVTs, and I've soured on DCTs thanks to Ford and their ill-designed "PowerShift automatic" that's been problematic.
Chevy nailed the looks with the final run of the previous gen. Not sure why theyre trying to make them all look the same. Those lower LEDs and that front grill of the 2015 looks pretty luxurious for what it is.

That LT is pretty un-Loaded. My LT is practically fully loaded, Short of a sun-roof. Heated seats, Remote start, and Push Button start. Obviously it's just because dealers choose different cars/Packages to stock, but I'd think a press car LT would be a little more loaded with options

Cool car. I like it. I usually like it with a manual transmission of which I know all models get it standard except for the Premier model, but it still is a great car, even the video is. 🙂 Keep it up, man!
Chevy has really been doing a good job lately with design, but they still have a while to go on interior quality. I know they know how to do it (Cadillac?) but the Malibu that I drove had panels that didn't line up right and all the hard plastic was already rattling and squeaking a bit with 56 miles on the clock. I'm guessing this Cruze is the same. The new interiors LOOK beautiful (like the Camaro) but if you look up close it's nothing but the same hard plastic with a little leather stitched in.

I have been a subscriber for a long time and love watching your videos, but over time they feel like they blur into the same things over and over again. This is actually the first car I have driven. I rented it recently for a few days and had some fairly strong negative opinions about it so was curious what you had said in the past. I really hated the stop start, if your nudging forward in traffic its constantly on, off, on, off, on, off and although it is fast I found it still clunky. The transmission was clunky and the accelerator was very stiff and spongy. I found the car responded well going slow and well when going fast, but that mid range was just none existent. Combined with the horrible accelerator feel it didn't feel great at all. In the car I had the suspension clunked, considering it only had 3000 miles it was worrying to say the least. Although as a rental you never know what might have happened. But yeah, I love your videos and understand you have to speak positively about cars because dealers allow you to review them to help them make sales. But at the same time you need to find a better middle ground and be more critical in a constructive way.
manufacturers have lost their mind with compact sedans in the last year or two. the fact that mazda 3s, cruzs, and focuses go for mid 20s when optioned moderately and can go up to 30 fully loaded is just ridiculous. who is paying this much for slow, feature bereft eco cars
I had a 2015 Buick Verano and the only problem was a small back seat, plus gas mileage wasn't too great maybe do to the engine just too small and working a little too hard for the size or weight of the vehicle.
When can a expect a 2000 Toyota Camry review??? Lol jk I love watching all the reviews just to expand my knowledge on all cars. But I would like to see reviews on used cars lol

Not a bad looking chevy but it's just a chevy. That dash OMg freeking I don't know what. I do think the outside looks very nice. Would like a little bit larger engine like a 2.0T with a DSG type trans, but that may be above gms pay grade.
I have the car but for some reason the volume button on the gear switch doesn’t do anything am I the only one having this problem 🤔 because when I’m driving I want to turn the music up without having to turn the nobe
I wish GM would've just dropped the Camaro's 4 Cylinder Engine in this car instead, & make it an option for this car. Would be a nice competition with The Civic Si & Some of the hatches such as the Focus St Or MazdaSpeed 3.

Other than that it’s great on gas before gas went up I could fill up for like $25 bucks, now it’s like $30 or so for a full tank. It’s drives really great. I’m 5’9 and it’s just the right size for my really long legs to be considered a compact car.
I have a 2016 chevy cruze and the ac still runs. there are two settings for the ac, there is normal and eco. but both still keep it cool it just turns down the ac automatically just like if there is a phone call and the ac is on high.
What state is that? I'm in California and I'm thinking about getting one myself. I currently drive a 2012 Cruze and it's the Eco model. The new one looks great especially with the LT trim and option packages like the convenience package which includes an ignition button rather than a key and also keyless entry. There's also a package that includes a sunroof. Anyways the Cruze is a great car

+Joseph Hill Actually, looks like it may be the 1.5T Malibu.
I wonder if it would be possible to make the headlight just a little bigger.
I ♥ this car
Another hope, I hope you get a chance to review either a chevy trax or a buick encore awd or fwd
I wish GM would've just dropped the Camaro's 4 Cylinder Engine in this car instead, & make it an option for this car. Would be a nice competition with The Civic Si & Some of the hatches such as the Focus St Or MazdaSpeed 3.
Really adorable, I have this in white
Do you still enjoy this car?
@@jaydenelijah6389 I surely do
@@PrettyNeeNee may I ask how many miles you have on it right now. I am very interested in getting one so I want to make sure it has positive reviews , apologize for all the question
@@jaydenelijah6389 when I got it, it had 74,000 miles. I live in Alabama and recently drove it to Michigan and back, I also drive it to work daily which is not far from my house. If I had to guess I would say it has about 83k or something of the sort. To be sure I’ll try to remember to look for you in the morning. Other than that it’s great on gas before gas went up I could fill up for like $25 bucks, now it’s like $30 or so for a full tank. It’s drives really great. I’m 5’9 and it’s just the right size for my really long legs to be considered a compact car.
@@PrettyNeeNee thank you so much for the information
This smacks of a paid review (by Chevrolet). Unnaturally excited and complimentary about the exterior design and interior fit and finish. Odd.
are you sure this is a 2016? I just bought a 2016 and the dash looks better.
Which version did you buy? Premier? This is the LT, that's probably why...
Thank you for the review
i know youve been reviewing newer vehicles lately but id like to see a diesel truck
+billydakid812 I'll be posting a review of a GMC Canyon Diesel in about a month or so.
Review on ford focus rs please.

Awesome design!
Who else got the Cruze ad before he video
Me getting a used one as my first car
Have you ever had a car NOT start right up? lol
+oneslowwdsm it is a Chevy so you never know
+oneslowwdsm one time I forgot to put the clutch in on a car and had to do a second take haha.
Can you keep engine running at stop by putting in neutral. Like in traffic jam and needing AC?
I have a 2016 chevy cruze and the ac still runs. there are two settings for the ac, there is normal and eco. but both still keep it cool it just turns down the ac automatically just like if there is a phone call and the ac is on high.
anybody else chuckle when he said cruising lol
i have one. Great car!
they need to add dual exhaust maybe ss version in 2017 2.0 liter turbo with 260hp and 240lbs torge
I can't believe he pulled this to a back road 😂😂
How do u get the buttons on the shifter to work, i've tried the buttons but they dont seem to do anything.
does it have fake engine noises like your mustang?
what is your favorite car that you reviewed?
What state is that? I'm in California and I'm thinking about getting one myself. I currently drive a 2012 Cruze and it's the Eco model. The new one looks great especially with the LT trim and option packages like the convenience package which includes an ignition button rather than a key and also keyless entry. There's also a package that includes a sunroof. Anyways the Cruze is a great car
Taylor Ogata I'm in California also. I purchased a 16 Cruze Lt, I have to say if you want more room, the screen and stop start then buy it. Super good handling and just a comfortable car to drive cross country at 80 all day. It looks like you paid more so imo I wouldn't trade in yours I really liked the previous gen cruzes also. I got mine for 16k with incentives! Damn good deal
man, they made chevy look worse and worse, corvette is getting better and better, this reminds of a nissan Altima, previous gen, still love the reviews Matt
2015 Mclaren 650s Spider Review??
Im thinking of buying it for my 3rd car
+Sammy Cort if someone lets me drive one I'd love to! Lol
+subaruwrxfan i actually own one!!!!

7:40 that subie
+subaruwrxfan i bought this car due to your opinion thanx
Great and informative review! How is noise at highway speeds - as far as wind noise that shouldn't be there? What RPM's is engine running at 60 mph in high gear?
mine runs around 2 k.
