Al-Sirat = Lansraat/"Sirat" quoted from the O.C. Bible
Eunuchs = Fenring/The Guild
Padishah = The Padishah Emperor
"I caught mono [...] opiate copulation" = Fenring and the Guild's reliance on Spice to remain in power

@@FuneralFeastArt many of those references are widely found in any Middle-Eastern/Islamic folk story, and the band is known to have visited Jerusalem (see Bedlam in Goliath's story and Omar's trip). Almost every Muslim knows of the Quranic "Sirat", eunuchs were commonly utilized in Ottoman Palaces to keep over the women's rooms (harem), padishah, (with a lowercase p) is what Westerners call "emperor", translated to Persian etc.

To be honest, I'm sticking with the Tremulant version of "Eunuch." Now I'm not saying this is a worse version of "Eunuch;" I'm just saying this is just a different version. And more of a "dry demo" version. And I kinda like it; it's not bad. If they were to overdub this with more soundscapes & more Isaiah on keys, then I think that would be pretty cool... :D

This version does not do it for me. The keys, which were so instrumental in the progression, movements, and underlying emotion of the original song are absent. Unforgiveable. Also, the vocals on this version lack the intoxicating orgasmic feeling of the original. Plus, while there is a drum solo, the drum sound is dry (especially the cymbals) and when you have a progressive rock song, the last thing you need is the drum sound to be either dry or flat. I am not even confident that is Theodore on drums, something sounds off about the sound and even the style.The production is better, however and to me that is a bad thing, but I can see how many of you may enjoy that better.
