As a GS owner, the first thing I will say is that the Voge looks like a very good Bike, and very good value for the level of equipment. Would I change for a Voge now or any time soon?, no. However, I wouldn't discount the possibility further in the future that's for sure. My take on your Video is that when demand is high with no stock, second hand prices will be high, but once the production catches up, S/H prices and in turn depreciation will relatively equal out. Will the Voge be as big a seller in the UK as Spain? that remains to be seen as does future pricing (once established}, reliability, durability, reliable warranty work, dealership networks and a 2 year UK warranty vs 5 year warranty elsewhere. I am not a badge man, I go for a Bike I enjoy riding and I am certainly not against Chinese Bikes, I think the Voge 900 DSX is the best looking bike so far. Its about time the "Big Boys" had some serious competition as that is good for us all of us Bikers no matter what we ride.

Thanks for your serious and un-biased thoughts, I'm with you on all counts. If I could afford it the 1300 GS would be on my radar. But generally the market will change, as you say the UK market is different, from statistics pretty flat, Spain is up 20% year on year so a huge bike market here. ,✌️

i don't buy a bike to sell it, i buy it to ride it and use it - they are worth what they are worth when i am done - of course nobody wants to lose loads of money but ownership is a loss and we know it, i think doing this comparison is a bit unfair as the demand is higher than supply on the dsx right now - we should revisit in 12 months once the market has been supplied - that said, i have zero doubt that the loss is far greater on the triumph etc , zero doubt - this bike will likely bottom out at about 4k in a few years time - that is a small loss in reality if you ride and enjoy it

I don't buy bikes or cars to sell them either. But I need them to last 20-30 years at least, and I need reasonably priced parts to be available for them, and I need to be able to work on them myself. I know someone with a 1947 Indian Chief, which looks and runs like brand new. There is no way you are going to be able to keep any modern bike going that long. They are throwaways. designed to be disposable, not repairable.

Disculpa me español. Completely agree with you & I commented (please see) on the video you watched also.
His pricings are definitely way out. I commented that there's no way the MT450 & Voge 900 & 525 will lose what he suggests, plus his Tiger 800 will lose much more than he suggests.
As you know I've been sorting my Blade out for the road, plus ordered a new fuel pump for my GSXR750, which I was unindated with availability for.
I will almost certainly get a Voge 900 or 525dsx, but in the UK, a fuel pump (example) isn't available to buy...atleast that's in my quick research.
With the Voge 900 & 525dsx having been available in Spain & other countries longer, parts must be more readily available?

My Voge fully comp with full breakdown service is around 300€ selling privately is different, you need to go to a clerk and pay the transfer fee. You get a contract of sale or purchase and a circulation document untill your new ones arrive. Insurance and running costs are considerably lower here.

If they still wanna pay double price for blue and red stripes let it be. We as dsx owners took the risk of purchasing a new bike not tested on the road . As of now seems that the risk paid off.
