Dude, I'm loving your videos! Simple but very useful. This windscreen looks good, I think with the black version of the bike it would look absolutely fire😮❤. Oh...last thing...give some scritches to the cat from me😁
I find that to get totally clean air flow on my VStrom I have to ride with no screen. I have a 7-year old Givi screen that will deflect nearly all the air and allows me to ride with an open visor. There’s still some noise and a little buffeting, but it’s much better than the stock screen. ADV bikes, with their distance from the screen to the rider and the obligatory hand guards, are difficult to manage wind flow. I’ve had several sport touring bikes that were much better. Unfortunately, they all weighed over 100 pounds more than my VStrom. With the temps you face in Spain, no screen may ultimately be the best solution until it gets too cool.
Interesting review of the screen Paul. It looks great, yet it's a pitty it's function isn't quite on par with the adventure helmet. Screens really are a conundrum in that its not always about their size & shape, but also the nose cone area shape of the bike in how they perform. Rider height also. My Fireblade is an example, i'm 5'9" & with the standard screen & a relative upright relaxed position, i'm completely in still air at motorway speeds. Go figure 🤔
@@motechRevolution Jumping to the 4.4 s/w upgrade matter, i tested this weekend on highway and as i mentioned on another video it adds good feeling to the bike especially on lower rpm and general felling of the clutch and quick shifter (more smooth) . I read however on a german forum that 4.4 is meant to be distributed on the Asian market and installing it on European models renders the warranty void. Although i don't believe, have u heard anything similar? My local dealer installed also 4.4 on his bike and isn't aware of warranty void when 4,4 is installed.
@@nkatech Don’t quote me on this, but when I spoke to my dealer they were indifferent, meaning providing you have the services at set intervals, there is no problem. In fact bikes on 4.1 are not even getting later updates just a service.
Lovely looking screen, shame it doesn't quite cut it for you, I do like the 3 add ons you have on your other screen, they don't look out of place at all, I've skimmed back through your vids for a link for them but couldn't find it, are the side ones identical to the top one. Loving your review vids and following the tours idea with great excitement
@@MrDarrendr The new screen looks amazing, the deflectors are all the same top and sides and do a perfect job. The tour idea is moving on we are starting on the concrete drive down to the storage area, ready for some shipping containers, and starting work sorting the Farmhouse. The Voge 300 rally is ticking the boxes for a lot of guys, light, easy to ride. Not sure about the power output, but I'm going to sort a test ride out.
@@motechRevolution great choice of bike, I believe they are basically a half price CR 300 but a very very tall seat height of 920. Thanks for the info, keep the vids coming 👍
Very helpful your video like all of them.Thank you for sharing your experience with us. My helmet is very good quality. i dont hear a lot of noise, but after 90-100 buffering is incredible! It's almost painful! If i remember right you are 1,76? I am 1,86 maybe i should buy the 15cm plus the deflectors 🤣 Its gonna look so ugly after!🤣 I think I will buy the 15 cm At least it will be better compared to the original. I read somewhere that you have a "safety" speed limit when you put a screen taller is that correct? I didnt hear you very happy with it. I think you will return to deflectors.😇 About the fuel i have the same issue. We have to wait the 4.5 firmware 😁
@@spiroskaltsoukalas9692 Yes a good helmet will make huge difference, looks like a screen with 15 cm will suit you better, not sure about speed regulations though. Thanks for your Comments ✌️
Thanks for this. Your videos have been really helpful and the screen looks good. Can I ask how tall you are? I'm only 1.7m so may not get much buffeting. We shall see when I get the bike! Should be collecting next Wednesday or thereabouts in the UK. Super excited!
I got this on my bike, the dealer had one when I was buying mine and he asked if I wanted it, I did :) But I still feel that the wind comes a bit too much on the sides.
I'm loving the screen, not so much the wind from the side. I'll try a different helmet. I always have the option to put the original with the deflectors back on or just add the side deflectors to the new screen.
Great videos very informative. That old farm

I’ll take that comment back I’ve just seen your other video lol

They don't have the 15cm smoked screen. Yours looks great 👍
