Mine is doing that right now, does it matter which one to switch or might as well do both? It turns off when I take of but only when I make a left turn it turns on again. Suggestions?

I have been working on a buddy's Dodge Avenger for 3 weeks and I will NEVER buy a Chrysler product
To may electric ⚡ problems
The car has 142,000 miles and everything electrical is jacked up
The front end is trash " needs everything "
I was always a Chevy guy until I bought a 2008 Honda Ridgeline
Now I'm a Honda guy
I have the Ridgeline" 286,000 miles " still a great truck
I have and 2009 Honda Accord with 198,000 miles great car " if people would STOP running in to it !"

My brother thank you so much for the video I got that problem on my 09 rt challenger with 230k+ miles and it’s started out this year giving me problems fuel pump oil pressure sensor alternator but all in all it’s been a great car for 11 years got my money’s worth 😁

Thx Felix. The exact lights came on on my 2015 Charger Ralley Sport and did the same to replace my ABS/Speed sensor and fixed the warning lighta.

My ESP and BAS have been coming on and off for months but today they stayed on and I have a feeling it’s one of my wheel speed sensors. Thanks for this video, makes it look very doable for a self repair!

There’s a recall on airbags apparently that also triggers it

Always pull negative off battery and you can even remove both poos and net. And touch together for few minutes then re attach terminals appropriately . That will prevent further warning lights and in some cases unnecessary work. I have an07 charger rat 5.7 street mod pro tuned .disconnecting battery b4 and work that requires pulling any sensors out.
No point in removing both battery cables, unless you want to clean both.
Touching cables together and leaving power off may reset the current codes, however this is only clearing what the computer *knows* about any problems (including the sensor you are replacing and any other issues), it won't make any additional problems go away.

Hey I've gotta 2012 town n country..prob started yesterday..noticed my ESC is lit on my dash and when it is on..my darn shift wont move..i have to turn to on and then i can shift to neutral to start it..I've tried pressing the button on my panel for ESC. Off ..but doesnt show its turned off..either. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Put the OBD reader first to make sure that’s the problem you have
It is advisable that u scan first. One of the three issues could be responsible: ABS, speed sensor, and steering angle sensor (most especially when u tamper with steering balance during front suspension replacement without doing wheel alignment later)
@@FixitFelix529 my obd scanner won't retrieve codes related to this issue...
It’s because not all OBD readers will read ABS codes. It has to be a special OBD ready.
You can take it to a mechanic and they can check it or if you want you can purchase a OBD reader like the one I used on the video. The link is on the description

I replaced steering angle sensor, clock spring, and abs sensors all the way around, and ABS light, BAS light, and traction light still on...do I need to have the scan tool or odb reader to clear the lights now to make them goo off...because they did not go off by themselves after replacing all these parts.

hey Felix, what part of the country are you in, I am having the same problem on my 08 Charger, scanner says its left rear, same as you. But I am afraid of trying since I am in an area that gets a lot of snow and any sensors I have tried to pull of on other cars , the bolt always breaks off.
Can these sensors be tested with an ohm meter and tell if they're bad?

Hello just a question by the way great job on the video, my question we have a 2008 Nitro where the lights came on so my husband replace the front and rear sensor and the lights did not turn off, what else could it be causing the lights not to turn off? Any help is much appreciated.
You have to take it to a mechanic so he can use a computer and read the code you have. He should check it for free.
Then after he gives you the code you will know what’s wrong with it exactly
He has a code reader but no code shows up, we think maybe the fuse?
You need a special machine to read abs codes

Antoni Lubbers I bought a code reader that does abs and it told me it was one of my speed sensors which was really easy to fix and cheap.

Its a super easy temporary fix. You can go to the gas station and just put $10 gas. The light should go away for a while. Lol 😂

How about the front sensors?
No, you start by going up front, in the fuse box, swap the 30A fuse for the ABS with the 30A fuse for the wipers. Start the car, and see if the light on the dash goes away. If that doesn't work, then you change the sensors
Felix, good video, but I wondering, I got a 2015 charger R/T just today when I back to start my car I notice the ABS & STABILITY CONTROL lights on saying that service need to done, just wondering if is similar sensor like the one you show.
My car has 30500 miles. And I take care so I got a dealer appointment in a week but in the mean time I just searched for ideas.
First you need to take it to a mechanic to read the codes you have. They should do it for free. They should tell you why the lights are on

Felix I watch with great interest your video ref the ABS/SKID SENSOR. i own a 2014 Chrysler 300 and I am getting the skid light own. I hooked it up to one computer that told me the module is b bad and the break switch, however the brakes likes come on so I suspect the problem is with either one of the abs/skid sensor or the module itself. How can I tell if it is a sensor since I assume there are a one for each wheel, or if it is it module. any inform you could provide me would be greatly appreciated
Well if one of the wheel sensors is bad it should give you a code to which one it is.
First make sure you’re brake fluid level is normal.
If it is full then try fixing or replacing the brake switch because it’s cheaper than replacing the module.
Sometimes those lights also turn on due to a bad fuse. Try checking if you have any blown fuses
I’m having a problem with my esp/bas it’s on the dash and will not go away my car is making a knocking noise idk if it’s that or the egr valve I had a so called mechanic someone please help
Be very careful with Chrysler products! I have seen them throw ABS codes that were erroneous and misrepresented the problem. Recently I had one give me 5 codes. It said all four wheel speed sensors were bad and that it had an "under voltage" condition. We checked all the wiring and replaced the ABS module but the ABS light still did not go out. After that I decided to check the wheel speed sensors one by one. It turned out that the left front sensor was bad. Replacing it finally made the ABS light go out. The ABS codes were wrong and caused a lot of unnecessary work and expense. There is a way to unplug these high tech electronic sensors and test them while they are disconnected from the car but it requires a bit of electronics knowledge to do it. But I wouldn't do anything to a Chrysler ABS system until I check all the wheel speed sensors first. Otherwise you could get fooled. Badly.
