The Michael Bay movies ended in 2017.
The Bumblebee movie and Rise of the beasts are a reboot.
Are they tho, are they really?
@@matthewbraith0411their timelines are inconsistent, Bumblebee in the Bayverse lost his voice on cybertron (Optimus even says this in TLK) while in the reboot, Bee loses his voice on earth in the 80’s while in the movies it was prehistoric times for us.
Literally yes.@@matthewbraith0411
I have to say it’s a damn shame that literally half of the games here especial the ones for pc are no longer available. Here’s to hoping the games would come back
The PC ones (without multiplayer) will always be available thanks to piracy.
Yeah okay hardcore transformers guy here. 30 seconds in and shit's already fucked. No mention of the comics? The highly regarded IDW 2005 continuity or the original Marvel series that ran alongside the cartoon? Calling Beast Wars a Reboot when it's a follow up to G1? The "many" weird and strange cartoon series throughout the 90s, when there was only G2 (which was literally just G1 but with some fancy bumpers), Beast Wars, and the sequel beast machines? Saying the Bayverse "which isn't even done yet" when his last involvement with the series was in 2017? Mentioning the modern era and then showing prime, which is over a decade old? Confused series like Prime and Animated which are some of the most well-loved and highly regarded series? And which "scrapped series" are you talking about? Was there more than 20 minutes of research put into this entire video?
Good content moment, small tubers are sometimes better than the "best" and I think you fall right in there for this video
The "Prime" game was also on DS, Wii and Wii U, not just on 3DS. Same basic story and gameplay though. Not sure if the Wii U had any gamepad implementation, but I seem to remember the Wii version being only like... an hour long or so.
I remember loving "G1 Awakening". Used to play it a lot on my phone, even though it didn't fit the screen properly.
The "Animated" game was basically "The Lost Vikings" but with Transformers and overall not as good as Blizzard's title, but still quite enjoyable.
And "Armada" on PS2 is just brilliant! The other PS2 game does indeed exist and yes, even though it makes zero sense, all the dialogue is entirely in English, but was released only in Japan.
So basically
Transformers is comprised of a vast set of continuities. Each one representing a different universe, very few things fall into the same continuity, and every continuity has either glaring errors between entries or significant time travel shenanigans, sometimes both.
The continuities are as follows:
▪︎ The Generation 1 Continuity, containing the original show, Marvel comics, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and all of the works associated directly with those shows and comics
▪︎ The Robots in Disguise (2001) Continuity, containing the 2001 Robots in Disguise show and the 2003 Universe comics
▪︎ Animated, which features all of the works directly associated with the Animated cartoon
▪︎ Michael Bay films, which contains specifically Transformers (2007), Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, Age of Extinction, The Last Knight, and any of their associated works
▪︎ Knightverse, being Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts, as well as their associated works
▪︎ Unicron Trilogy, being the shows Armada, Energon, and Cybertron, as well as their associated media
▪︎ Aligned Continuity, containing War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron, Prime, Rescue Bots, Robots in Disguise (2015), Rescue Bots Academy, and all of the works associated with those shows and games
▪︎ Cyberverse and its associated works
▪︎ The Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy and its associated works
▪︎ Energon, consisting of only the Skybound comics
▪︎ IDW (2005), a continuity consisting of comics by IDW Publishing
▪︎ IDW (2019), a different continuity by IDW Publishing
▪︎ Earthspark and its associated media
▪︎ Whatever the hell BotBots is.
Into even more complexities, Unicron is considered to be a multiversal singularity, meaning he freely traverses the multiverse and does not have multiple versions of himself.
Even stranger is Shattered Glass, which is a sort of modifier to any universe instead of a universe of its own. Kind of like an equal opposite.
Then there's Axiom Nexus, a city which can be accessed by any universe and through which any universe can be accessed.
There's also unspace which is shared among all universes and used for spacebridge travel.
Bumblebee was directed by Travis Knight and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was directed by Steven Caple Jr. Neither were directed by Michael Bay.
The Maximals were decented from the Autobots and The Predacons were decented from the Decepticons. In 2018 they released a Transformers game called Shadows Rising which ignored the events of Michael Bay's final 2 Transformers movies but picking up where Dark of the Moon left off
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts received mixed reviews but it was considered an improvement over the 4 Transformers movies released between 2009 and 2017 but was not received as well as the critically acclaimed Bumblebee movie
Transformers were scientists and Decepticons were soldiers, hence the design of their vehicles according to lore
For your information, Beast Wars is badass.
Transformers animated (the series) kicks ass too
I hope you'll have more suscribers it's a shame that you have only 3k suscribers when you are so passionate. Keep it up bro !
Heyo, looks like the algorithm worked for me because Im enjoying this channel!
War for cybertron was not the first transformers game to have online multiplayer. That was beast wars for PC and after that revenge of the fallen on PS3 360 and PC
20:30 Ypu might want to go back and double check the story of the DS games. The Autobot one is more in depth retelling of the movie, and the Decepticons one is it's own orignal story that very loosly follows the movie, and is one of the best stories in the Transformers FRANCHISE
Alright I can give you about 14 years of insight to the DS version(s) of War for Cybertron.
The gameplay is honestly just fine, but if you want a Transformers game with single player content, these games are IT. 20 Autobots, 20 Decepticons, 10 story levels, 30 bonus missions, and 4 story levels from the opposing version of the game. The replay value of just one version is insane, and there's two of them.
As for the story, it's the exact same as the console version, just expanded.
Really like u and u content man ur amazing my bro. Keep doing what u do. I've been sharing ur videos in my discord
Not gonna lie man it definitely sounds like a you problem if you instantly think about CSA upon hearing anything resembling the word "predator"
The bay games were fun first one was a great open world game it's ds game is special to my heart
Its great to see a quick review for most of the transformers games, but there is a couple that is missing. One noteworthy being the 3ds port of dark of the spark. Instead lf being a over the shoulder shooter, its some how a SRPG similer to advance wars/fire emblem personaly its...odd. its interesting as some cybertron characters who barely had any screen time (arcee, slipstream, shockwave, etc) are playable. Give it a shot if you can/want to. Other than that. Great video!
Transformers doesn't have a hard time finding its footing or whatever. The shows tie into toylines which are designed to only last a few years.
The ds transformer game was so good. I remember walking to target to get the jet characters. Ones after the first one weren’t good till war. Also loved the first beast wars game and n64 trans metal gave was different then PlayStation. I miss G1 awaking. I hate strategy games but loved that one. Also my cuz and me loved playing revenge of the fallen online. Think it still has a community but I could be wrong.
How could you not like Beast Wars? Seriously!
27:02 the ps3 version of revenge of the fallen had online multiplayer
you missed 2 more moblie transformers games. one was a age of extention subway type game and another was a RID drag and attack type game
War and fall of cybertron are some of the best transformers games ever, Evan of all time
I remember playing dark of the moon on ds it was good but the 2 games thing pissed me off i play as the decepticons do everything i have to do and the decipticons still loose??? I know that theyre meant to loose but it would've been great to see an alternate ending
If I had a nickel for every Lost Vikings liscence game I know on the DS, I would have 2 nickles.
Which isn't a lot, but it's surprising it happened twice.
ua-cam.com/video/hLnO8sAhQ7c/v-deo.html
Tried to watch this but that transformers transition that kept playing was getting annoying
please note transformers rise of the beast is not awful
The way it was described, Animated sounds a lot like The Lost Vikings
...Where was Battle Tactics?
Aaaand you missed the pc rotf game
Shame. That game rocks
Edit : ps 3 version = pc but on pc you're waaaaaay more maneuvrable , you scale buildings and cheese levels way faster if you're skilled enough
There's probably another comment about this but Battlegrounds is literally xcom lmao
The second you said “the Michael Bay films aren’t even done” I had to leave, you clearly don’t know your stuff
rise of the beast is actually good
