Hey, Congrats on completing your semester! Can you make a video for study tips and how you study and set up your notes or essential study tools you feel each Sono Student should have? Just completed my first semester and I look forward to my second!
I'm thinking about changing careers from education to sonography. What scares me the most is not being able to work during the program, since that's what my program recommends. How did you manage to work and attend classes, study, and do your clinical rotations?
As far as working , I would work after classes were done for the day ( I was working part time ). With studying , I normally would do a little bit before work , In between classes , when I had free time in clinic , and on weekends . I had a set schedule so it never changed , so I just dedicated certain days to doing certain things . Hope this helps
During clinicals did you get a full hour for lunch? Thinking of entering college at age 49! lol I know it sounds bad but an hour lunch would be an amazing energizer for me to tackle the rest of the day! (also is an hr lunch normal during shift work after graduating and on actual job)?
do you ever get burned out with just school and work? I got burned out during my pre-reqs, failed 2 tests and end up finishing the semester with a B and Cs. I just know I need tips before actually getting into the program because.. I be tied😩😂
I know this question wasn’t for me but I hope this hepls…I would use the Eldeman’s: Understanding Ultrasound Physics, Oval’s: Sonography Exam Review, and Davies has an Ultrasound Physics Review book as well.
@@jailynb442 the question was meant for anyone lol. Thank you so much for responding. I have the Edelman (green) book and I also have the Davi’s review workbook. I haven’t heard of the Oval Book will have to look into it. Thank you so much girl!!
