Not bad at all. I'm impressed Elon managed to put this together almost as well as Twitch in such a short time. I hear the quality isn't amazing, but it's a barren landscape where the early birds have a chance to become big, just like UA-cam back in the day. The fact that you get a share of overall revenue if you make it is insane. I saw screenshots of people suddenly getting money from X, like 6-7 thousand USD
The people/companies who advertise on X is bigger than we think. It lets creators get paid good amounts of money. I just hope it stays like that in the long run when everyone comes flocking to X to stream.

As of today, I had to set the stream settings using the "Custom" setting instead of the "Twitter" setting under "Stream". Be sure to copy the link to the stream and your login info and it worked for me!

how do you get the livestream to show up on your profile page is what i'm currently trying to figure out - it seems like it just creates a seperate url link for the stream but doesnt show on your own page - so that means no1 will see it unless you share the direct link.....
Once set up correctly, it showed up on my page. You have to make sure you have X’s stream key put in correctly or it will not show up on your page.
Guys i have basic twitter premium do i need the normal twitter premium to go live? Cant find out anywhere

So i got the stream working but when streaming to X the quality is so low. The preview is fine but as soon as i click create stream, it goes down the drain. Any recommended settings you have?
Same here! I think it is twitter itself. I ran the same settings on a youtube stream and the quality was perfect. I don't know why twitter quality absolutely tanks. If you see anything, please let me know!
I found the quality to be pretty low on desktop, but was much, much better on mobile. Not helpful, but I believe they are prioritizing mobile, at least for now.@@LxttleSZN

Are you able to stream onto X via the xbox series x?
I think if you plug some external device that captures game and ports to the system you can. Maybe something like an HDPVR.
so im assuming somthing like an elgato capture card to source the xbox content into my laptop to provide the stream for X Stream?@@SeventhHaven

I purchased twitter premium and when i go to the website it takes me to X for business to run Ads. WTF?
It may take some time to recognize your account as a premium subscriber.

@@GemerMr7 according to X , it shouldn’t take any longer than three days. I think they are working on making it quicker.
how do you turn on game capture?
You’d need to make an entirely new source dedicated to game capture in OBS.
Can I also do this with PS5?
Yes but you will need a laptop and capture card with obs

I love Elon Musk but , I can't log in even once since I tried to open an account because the help center keeps saying incorrect User name, incorrect phone number, and email is already taken like someone stole my identity! I can't even submit a request for help unless all these are correct, even though they are correct. Because they don't have any live agents to call I won't be able to use the X website at all which is extremely disappointing!!!! So much for free speech!!! Will you please get some real live humans to be able to call as your customer service Elon!!!!?
This is an unfortunate thing on their website. I’m not sure how hard it is to get the call center open.

Media? As in post a picture? No. You do not need premium to post a picture or video to the platform X.

Sounds ultra complicated
It’s a bit of a process until they update the method to start streaming. It also shouldn’t be limited to premium members only.

Dude X totaly sucks for streaming. You can't stream on your phone, You can't stream on your computer unless you download OBS or some other 3rd party. Just really terribly made.
Do u not realize that literally every streamer uses obs?
@@WP8OZ so what your saying, is that i cant just go live like by just using my cell phone? Its an Android. And no i dont realize that i dont specialize in computers. I think you simply just click on the live broadcast and it works off your camera phone ~
@@Itsjustme1982 well not exactly. what im saying is YOU can do that but the LARGE streamers are using obs. every single one of them. to simplify it how many movies were made on cell phones that you saw in theaters? i know these people dont have THAT production budget or equipment but thats the standards they use.
if you just go live from your phone the experience you're delivering your viewers is a VERY uniquely appreciated home made version of what these people work so hard to perfect.
not saying its cool to gatekeep from amateurs but i like that X takes the stance that if you're not willing to invest in your stream and produce something that requires more than the bare minimum and im sorry to inform you if you didnt realize but thats what that is.
watch a stream by someone like TimTheTatMan Specifically his ATNT ones, you'll see theres so much going on behind the scenes to make that experience so wonderful for his viewers that he's using TWO computers to game and stream the game and his assistant is also using their high end computer to help with all other things like visual graphics technical stuff and more. hope this helps you take your first leap down a wonderful rabbits hole. if you just give it a try you'll love it.
