Hi my man I really appreciate your videos. You have taught me a lot. If your objective is to help your fellow air gunners. Your doing a great job. I am asking for your opinion not criticizing. Just to be clear. Newman is the head technician here at Fx USA. In North Carolina. He stated in a new video for the m3 impact. That the perfect valve rod adjustment for the mk3 is 6mm. And for the mk2 impact. 5.7 mm. That at the old recommended measurements really took too much of the adjustment room. The old recommended measurements. Left us with really a tiny room to work with. And that his recommended specks. Give the rifle. A lot more valve rod for tuning. Plus with the new power wheels we can now actually use all the numbers. Do you have any thoughts that you might add I’m not trying to cause any problems. Newman is the person who recommended you to me. So I have been a subscriber since then. And I really respect the both of you and your knowledge. I’m only curious. Thank you and please keep these awesome videos coming. One more. Point. No one has ever said that if your starting to rebuild your rifle. That it is vital to have a good source of air pressure. I had a bad week and my rifle James and my compressor caused a fire. I was struggling to repair the orings I couldn’t get them to seal. I had to figure out on my own. That it is extremely difficult do do this with a hand pump. Hahah I fought with it for a couple months. I bugged the crap out of Newman. Who’s now a friend. Haha I had it right all along.
Hi mate , thanks for the support 👍🏻 Regarding the measurement as I use in my videos is as they come standard from the factory 😉 but you can play around with this a lot and there isn’t actually a perfect measurement . If you get it down to 6mm or even a touch lower you can get more power out of it , if you go above 6.5 mm you lose some power on the top end in my experience. I like to have all my valve C1 to be at 6-6.5 mm as it isn’t near the limit of both sides. If you go below the 6mm you might get more power out of the setup as te valve stays open a touch longer but you also risk it not returning properly and causing issues. It’s fun to play around with how far you can push the limits but in my videos I don’t want to explode or show this as I don’t want people to damage there setups because they followed my instructions 😉

Nice upgrades for the MK2. Was there a reason you went with the M3 cocking block? And, do they sell the block as a kit or in individual parts? Have the 720 on order from Huma but have had zero luck in finding the block assembly you installed.
The main reason is that I like the new short throw lever on the M3 block aswel as the new closing with that pin instead of that rubber bal . You can order it at your local FX dealer normally, but FX Airguns Spain has them in stock if you can order from them 🤷♂️
Is this a 500 mm barrel or a 600 mm barrel? From what I understand if you’re shooting long distances like 300 yards plus the 600 mm barrel has an advantage plus you will get more energy at target as compared to the 500 mm. Do you agree?

Hi Airbuks, ace informative video thanks. So glad I can upgrade my Mk2. With the power wheel upgrade, will it make the Impact have 16 power setting now? because I know the numbers and letters match powers on the old wheel. Plus do you know whether Fx might be bringing out an upgrade to fit the fine tuning part to go alongside the power wheel? Thanks
Hi , the new powerwheel gives you some more fine steps over the old one but between min (1) and max (16) there is the same amount off adjustment . Regarding the quick tune , that won’t be possible as the M3 is machined different in that area to allow the tuning system
@@Airbuks Hi, Thanks for getting back to me and providing the information. So on the power wheel does that mean power 1 will be the same as say power 8 like on the old wheel but there are more devisions in between them so would be a few more power settings? Oh dear, that's a shame, do you think maybe someone like Saber Tactical could machine an aftermarket part to do the same job as the quick tune? Also I would love to see a separate video on the Huma Air second regulator that screws onto the air bottle, it's my understanding on their website that if I installed it I couldn't use the function of just unscrewing the air bottle as it affects the none return valve on the bottle or something. I was thinking about emailing Huma to see if they could make some modifications to that so we could still just unscrew the bottle with all the air still in it. Thanks
@@fuuf2244 with the power wheel you have the same adjustment range just smaller increments. I am not sure if the could make something like that 🤔 as the M3 block is drilled to have it fit 🤷♂️ As for the Huma regulator indeed you can’t screw the bottle off , I will pass the suggestion to them 😉👍🏻
Thx mate for the support, you can have a look at krale ( they will order it specifically for you ) Huma ( they have some parts ) Airguns Europe ( they have every possible spare part and kits )
I’m not sure I understand. I was going to buy FX Impact Mark 3 but it’s really expensive in Canada. I found a really good deal on a Mk2. I’m not clear on a few things. Does the Mk2 come with dual regulators from the factory like the MK3 or do you have to upgrade it? Does the power Plenum 720 cc produce more consistent shots and more shots or does it have to be in conjunction with a dual regulator?
Thx mate , that choice is up to you but with a few buck you get your mkii worth abit more on the secondhand market and when the time comes you can get the next model 😉
Hi thanks for the great inspiring video! I just want to pick your brain. I installed the 720 plenum, in my mkll, but it leaks as a sill from the cocking block end.... the same can sadly be said for my Power plenum so i am stuck with stock :( I have followed every guide and been soo careful with the o-rings... do u have any suggestions, Thanks :)
I wanted to purchase the FX impact Mark 3 but I'm in Canada with tax it's going to be over $3,000. If I find a Mark II and install the power plenum what advantage would the Mark 3 have and is it much of a difference?
Done mine now thanks - but used my old valve spring as the new one looked too strong to me. anyway have you got round to tuning yours yet, I am not seeing any benefits of the 72cc plenum yet
Haven’t come around to that yet ( many things to be busy with 😉 ) but I am planning on doing that tomorrow, maybe I will try to make a video out off it 🤔👍🏻
Good video as always 👍 One question, I had problems installing the 720 plenum in my mk2, when trying to insert it in the main block, I had to do a lot of force, and now that I saw your video, I think I did it wrong, I think that when I go to uninstall it I will have problems 🤦. Can you send me the link where to order that piece? I am somewhat concerned. Thank you
Thx , as I mentioned in the video there is a batch of impacts out there the have the hole 0.1 mm smaller then most that’s why you had difficulty installing it into the main block . Send a e-mail to the support of FX , they are aware of this problem and will send you a replacement parts that will fit your impact in a normal way 👍🏻
@@Airbuks I sent email to the official FX support and they tell me I have to speak with my distributor here in Spain, the distributor here in Spain tells me i have to push hard 🤷 that you have to do a lot of pressure, I do not see that a logical answer of Skyway, which is the representative of Fx Spain.
@@tomlpnexus I had someone that fixed his with a simple trick , but it’s not without risk . If you take the bold out and thread it in from the opposite site and stick a coin in the slot ( or a washer) then you can use the bolt to manipulate the opening larger and insert the plenum. Be aware if you turn or force it to much you can permanently damage your impact
Really enjoyed watching your video! A couple of questions for you. You said you had to swop back to the 480cc bottle because the 600mm tuning barrel would not fit, so if you put the huma second reg on this I think is approx 50mm long would you be able to use the 600mm tuning barrel? I have the slug kit on mine will I still be able to use it if I change the plenum? Thanks Adrian.
@@Airbuks I would also appreciate if you could measure if the Huma second reg would fit with the 600 mm tuning barrel, and 480 cc bottle, installed. Thanks again :)
Hi, did you have to install the o rings in the power block? How many? My kit came with 2 different size o rings in one package with 3 rubber balls and another package with 4 o rings the same size but bigger than the 2 in the other package. Thanks
@@Airbuks I figured it out, my kit is an upgrade to the one in your video where the valve is different and the o rings go in the rear block and not on the valve itself. Nice work on your impact and thanks

Hi, do you think it is worth it to upgrade my .30 cal. 700mm barrel FX Impact Mk2 to all the Mk3 upgrades? Performance vs cost etc. Many thanks in advance and Merry Christmas !!!
Hi , the upgrade of the plenum and cf liner sleeve will benefit your 30cal . The rest of the options like the cocking block and powerwheel is more if you would like to have it or not , they have nothing to do with performance
I was wondering if you saw any difference with your new plenum because I too installed the 7200 72cc Plenum on my MK2 and did not see any noticeable FPS changes I took a notes before I changed it and and notes after and there was no difference then I did a new tune and didn't get anything over what I was normally getting what is your opinion on that?
I still have to test that mate , as soon as the weather clears and I don’t get stuck in quarantaine I should be able and do a video on it in the next few weeks 👍🏻
For this you must do a lot of testing as every gun is abit different. Generally you shout pellets between 850-880 fps en slugs 930-960 fps If you watch some of my previous video’s you can find some settings that I found to work well
Depends on where you live , there are a few websites in Europa selling the different kits . But ordering in Europe and sending it out Europe can be extra costly. But your local FX dealer should be able to order them for you
@@Airbuks i live in Egypt and we dont have a local any thing 😂😂 So would appreciate if you can tell me which website can i order it with the cocking kit in the same time hoping that will reduce the shipping coast

M3 is dual reg but not this. Technically, no meaning... hihi. Then, you dont use any locktite or any glue on the head of valve rod which may be caused unscrew when you shot.
Normally I do use it on the MKII ( not necessary in the M3 , but there was still enough gunk of the previous loctide inside that it won’t move , but maybe I better explained this aswel in the video 😬 so many details and so easy to miss something
The research and developement is where the money is spent....testing...that has to be made up...tools..machining ..yes its a 100$ gun in matereals lol..still worth it..imho
You do not think that with what they are worth they could come out complete, and also you have to be spending continuously to update them and failures such as chargers, regulators in bottle and wait.
🤔? I think you are seeing it wrong . I see it as a good thing that it’s even possible to update a older model to the specs of a newer released model instead of buy a rifle that can’t be upgraded. So I am happy to do so and keep my gun up to spec 🤷♂️ or that’s at least how I look at it

I am not sure if the could make something like that 🤔 as the M3 block is drilled to have it fit 🤷♂️
As for the Huma regulator indeed you can’t screw the bottle off , I will pass the suggestion to them 😉👍🏻
Huma inline regulator in front and you will have to go with a longer barrel also
Or a shorter bottle 😉
So all the Mods you did here can be ordered ? I wasn't finding them at Krale. As always, stellar videos, thank you so much for this one !!
Thx mate for the support, you can have a look at
krale ( they will order it specifically for you )
Huma ( they have some parts )
Airguns Europe ( they have every possible spare part and kits )
I’m not sure I understand. I was going to buy FX Impact Mark 3 but it’s really expensive in Canada. I found a really good deal on a Mk2. I’m not clear on a few things. Does the Mk2 come with dual regulators from the factory like the MK3 or do you have to upgrade it? Does the power Plenum 720 cc produce more consistent shots and more shots or does it have to be in conjunction with a dual regulator?
Great video as usual ! You have me wondering if I should upgrade my MKII or just wait for the M4 ????😆
Thanks !!
Thx mate , that choice is up to you but with a few buck you get your mkii worth abit more on the secondhand market and when the time comes you can get the next model 😉
@@Airbuks of course there is the better option, upgrade my MKII "and" get a M4 ! !
Contact me on Instagram chat , there we can send fotos and video. Maybe I can help that way
I wanted to purchase the FX impact Mark 3 but I'm in Canada with tax it's going to be over $3,000.
@@Airbuks Ik denk dat dat een goed idee is. Ik ga het proberen. Dank je wel
For the Huma regulator I will have to measure that 🤔 but you can definitely use the slug kit , I have one installed in my M3 👍🏻
@@Airbuks where did you get your parts from? Just had a quick look on huma air and all I can find it the power plenum thanks.
@@thaireesj41 you can specially order them true your local FX dealer .

@@jonathanasplund4451 sorry mate , I don’t own a Huma second regulator 🤷♂️
Hi
Does the valve adjuster knob have locking grub screws please?
There are some holes to put screws yes 👍🏻
Hi, did you have to install the o rings in the power block? How many? My kit came with 2 different size o rings in one package with 3 rubber balls and another package with 4 o rings the same size but bigger than the 2 in the other package. Thanks
Are you talking about the power block or about the M3 valving ? As this video is about upgrading the MKII to a M3 kind off
@@Airbuks I figured it out, my kit is an upgrade to the one in your video where the valve is different and the o rings go in the rear block and not on the valve itself. Nice work on your impact and thanks
@@thesnipersnestandmore7461 yes then you have the power block upgrade kit
Hellow ..wow beautiful
Thx
Before i watch let comment advance... I use mkii but i install m3 bottle and etc 16 step power wheel and 1st stage bottle regulator
24:55 plenum insert OD is fat than original one. how you insert to the block? its 0.18mm extra in OD
You are one of the unlucky once I am afraid 😔 there are a few impacts out there where the ID is smaller . But if you mail you FX dealer and explain the problem FX can provide you with that part that does suit yours
Does the 720 come with a heavier hammer and heavier spring or are they the same as the regular power plenum version 🤔
The 720 kit comes with the original weight hammer that sits standard in the M3 , not sure how much it weighs 🤔
Does the M3 have the AMP Regulator same as the MK2?
Yes but most probably a updated version
On the M3, Would you change out the AMP to the Huma Gen 3 Extra High Pressure Reg and the Huma Impact Power Tuning Kit for 35 cal to hunt Boar with? @@Airbuks
How come you did not re use the valve rod spring? My MK2 has a spring om valve rod.
Do you have a sub12 ? The sub 12 impacts had a spring on the valve rod inside the plenum

I still have to test that mate , as soon as the weather clears and I don’t get stuck in quarantaine I should be able and do a video on it in the next few weeks 👍🏻
Is there any benefit in fitting the 720 plenum to a sub 12ft lb fx impact m3, and I want to keep it as a 12ft lb
