    I've had a ruger scout rifle for about 9 years and I have used it a lot hunting and at range its a versatile gun.

      I'm all about scout rifle concept except forward mounted scope. J. Cooper's reason for this was to facilitate the use of stripper clips. I specifically chose the mossberg mvp .308 as my "scout rifle" because of the magazine versatility. Solid little rifle.

    I thought Bubba was everyone's potential prison cell mate... Now that I know he is a gunsmith, might make for some nice pillow talk.

    The grip texture on the M&P 2.0 is awesome when you shoot with cold or wet hands (or cold, wet hands). It is pretty uncomfortable after a few hours riding against unprotected skin though, especially the slightly tender middle parts we middle aged men are known for.
    I sanded down the skin- side grip with 1200 grit body shop wet/dry abrasive paper and now it doesn't rub me raw at all. I left plenty of texture on the grip, took me less than 10 minutes.

      I put the rubber talon grips on mine. I wanted the 2.0 compact and found it at a great price, but I knew going in I would need the Talons. Which is funny because I put the Talons on my first gen shield for the exact opposite reason.

      I just did the sandpaper method and made the grips perfect for me. I used 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper

    The Kraig is a 2 lug action. That is the reason it is so smooth. It will not take the chamber pressure of the 30-06. You will blow up the gun. Some with hand loading the 30-40. Keep it at factory loading specs.

    The FNS9c is greatly underrated for personal defense, being just a little bigger than the P365 . Having the mag extension gives the options that most 365/Glock43/Hellcat owners pay extra for and carries like a full size gun .

    Hi Points just aren't worth it anymore when the Taurus has made leaps and bounds in quality. The HP C9 was my first pistol and I've always regretted it. Runs fmj alright, but not jhp. I've had it for 6 years and own many other guns now, but I can't even give the thing away. I offered it to my cousin who didn't have a pistol. After shooting a few mags next to my CZ he wouldn't even consider taking it off my hands for free. It just isn't fun to shoot. At least CZ got more business.

    I actually had a chance to buy a sporterized krag however my attention was drown towards an original Winchester 1887 lever action shotgun from 1887.

  • @behindenemylines3361
    @behindenemylines3361 3 роки тому

    I just picked up a semi-sporterized Krag rifle (a carbine length with the stock modified slightly, the rear sights removed and Redfield rear site put on it). All of the work looks it was done by a gunsmith, no bubba-work. It a one of smoothest both I have ever seen.

  • @vikingsoftpaw
    @vikingsoftpaw 3 роки тому

    Another major difference between the '03 Springfield and the Krag Jorgensen what was the bolt. The Krag has a one lug bolt, the Springfield a 2 lug locking Bolt. The Krag Jorgensen's ability to be upgraded was severely limited as it could not take the 30-06 cartridge pressures.

  • @cloroxlavenderscent4307

    It was 1896 and 1898. If that carbine is an original 1898 or 1899 it's worth 2k plus. They are pretty rare.

    You forgot about the Hi-Point 1095TS 10mm carbine. Talk about fun to shoot! I bought it because I got tired of waiting for Ruger to come out with a PC10 carbine ... but they did bring out the PC9 Charger. I have found that it helps to tune your SR22 magazines. It solves a lot of "ammo" problems.

  • @AJ-gk7bn

    You did leave out one of the more important changes from the 1.0 to the 2.0 m&p’s which is the internal steel chassis in the frame.
    Super weird that you didn’t see great sales for the 2.0’s. They’re very popular.
