I can Just picture Opra,or the women on the view, watching this shaking thier heads saying, what are these parents thinking, teaching thier child about guns lol.
Dad did the mini proud. I've ran both guns in pretty rough conditions here in AK. And the AR is just all around the better system for semi auto rifles. And that is still hard for me to admit because I grew up carrying AK copies, a BAR safari, the old Remington 740, the mini and my old M1 Grand. But the AR system has repeatedly proven to me to be easier to use when needed the most and more reliable. Thanks for another awesome video!
Likewise here. We had a small shooting range in the woods just off our back yard, and my Grampa and I would often go out and have fun together plinking cans together. He taught me how to shoot properly when I was 8 years old. I sure do miss him.
Have both. Mini 14 is dressed with Tapco stock and a barrel stabilizer rod. Made a big difference in group size. Really wish Ruger would make a heavier barrel option to reduce the "barrel whip" that is an accuracy issur.
@@robertbeda959yes and no. I believe you can put a newer thicker barrel on an older mini, but you have to change everything to go with it. Basically everything except the bare receiver. Not very cost effective. I may be wrong. I bought two older GB models years ago that were shot out. They both keyholed at 50 yards. I went down this rabbit hole. I sold both to a guy that really wanted the GB models knowing they had issues. I ended up buying a brand new one with the thicker barrel.
Amazing to see such a demonstration from such a young lady! She is well trained and this is an impressive performance. Stay safe and keep those videos coming.
Great content love the way u keep your daughter so in tuned with guns it’s a very important American tradition 😊keep up the hard work and yes let mom know the chest rigs are simply amazing am gonna be getting one very soon
Props to you my brother, cannot tell you how awesome it feels to see a father passing all knowledge to his daughter building her confidence and her skills as well as quality time. And props to you mom helping out and instilling good quality time and effort with your daughter and husband. America could use many more families doing the same thing. May God bless you and your family
For the Mini14, try drawing out the next magazine, use your magazine top to press the magazine release and wipe the empty clear, and then insert, rack, and fire. Speeds up your reload times.
Your entrepreneurial spirit is awesome! Your price point on your mag carriers is, in my opinion, VERY fair and if anyone complains about the price, send ‘em my way!
In my time, girls played with dolls!! I think it's good to learn to shoot and get to know weapons from a young age, congratulations on the initiative and on the family, which is the most important thing.😊
Nice shooting, Autumn, and Randy! It's good to see Monkey again. Some awesome skills with the sewing machine, Lindsay! Thanks for the upload and the smile! 🎯🔫🧨💥🎆
Awesome job guys, you might want to check out some of the options for the Mini 14. Extended mag release lever makes mag changes easier. Front barrel stabilizer improves accuracy beyond 200 yards and helps reduce those wild shots especially for pre 580 models. I also found that using some blue lock tight on the action support screws to make sure they stay tight. If they come loose even a little, the action can move inside the wood stock causing wild shots. The wood stock on the Ranch rifle can swell and contract with humidity so check the action mounting screws often. Autumn, you continue to show the fun in responsible firearm uses.
Fun video !! And I definitely like the chest mag holders made by ' Mom '. I am interested in acquiring a couple, one for 20 round AR mags and another for 20 round AK mags. I like/prefer 20 rounders vs. 30 rounders in both platforms.
Here’s a little Mini-14 trivia from before Autumn’s time…back in the 90’s a friend sent his Mini-14 to Ruger for servicing… due to Bill Clinton’s ridiculous semi-auto ban, Ruger was forced to keep the factory folding stock and replace it with a full wood stock before shipping it back!
Autumn, just a suggestion, when loading a new mag in an AR, instead of finding the bolt release with your thumb, just slap the left side of the weapon with a flat open palm. You can't miss it like this. In a quick reload scenario, it's slightly faster. (a little less fumbling, and your left hand finds the front stock faster) This works very well especially in wet conditions, or when you have very cold/frozen fingers. Great videos guys, keep up the great work. Love the content. Great mag holders.
I started out with 223 Rems: a Mini-14 in 1977, then switched to an AR-15 in 1999, which was a big mistake. I should have simply gotten a newer Mini-14. I finally ended up with a 308 Win DS Arms SA58 (FAL) about ten years ago. If I ever get another 223 it will be the Ruger.
Alabama checking in. Good to see a man who teaches his children about firearms! I taught mine well. May God's richest blessings be upon you, Miss Autumn, and all your loved ones. Shalom, brother. De Opresso Liber
You said that your mom makes a lot of great things. One of the best things she ever made was you, Autumn. And I'm sure that your dad had a lot to do with that too.
To drop the mag faster on the Mini use the back of your pointer finger between the two big knuckles and push away on the release. with the same motion and position on the remaining fingers follow through on to the back of the magazine.
This was a GREAT video! Autumn, you & your parents are awesome!! Back in my day, the Mini-14 was notorious for not being worth a crap, shooting 6-9" groups at 25-50 yards. People avoided that rifle like it was cursed. Has this been fixed now, in your experience?
You and your daughter should really try to practice changing out the mag on the Mini 14 more. They will drop free if you just keep your hands off the mag. You can also perform AK47 style mag changes. Look up Mini 14 magazine change on youtube, and you will find some videos on how to do it. I think it would be interesting to see you guys try a little harder with the Mini.
Gotta do the ak47 style reload on the mini14. shoot and when it locks open, grab the new mag and use the mag to smack the mag release lever and push the old mag out in one motion, snap the new mag in and reach around underneath with left hand to pop the bolt lever. Can do it without breaking your right hand grip
0:34 The magazine will drop out of the Mini-14 if you hold the lever, it will fall right out. You dont have to rock it out... I actually made a vid on my profile showing that. You do have to rock the mag in however ...
Different manual of arms. Rocking the magazine is not a big deal once you practice and train with it enough. Not having a bolt release on the mini is a disadvantage but not all that huge in the greater scheme of things. 30.round mags in the mini seem more awkward without a pistol grip and the 20's are definitely. more maneuverable when manipulating the rifle even with a pistol grip stock. I fall back on my 90's military training where we always carried a 20-round mag in the rifle everywhere but had all 30's for reloads in our pouches. That's what I do with my Mini-14 too.
You can do a quick reload on the Mini by using the fresh mag to manipulate the mag release and rake the old mag out in a single forward motion, without touching the mag by hand, ala AK style. Try it... Pp
Little Mini14 drill on the fly and this will run like... whoop. 😂 The OE mags flips out itself normally. And the bolt will be closed by the left hand by gripping it from unter the gun. You will run it really fast.😉
This guy is a great American. He raised and taught his daughter to respect and not to fear firearms.
I showed one of her videos to my niece (12 years old) and...nah. Couldn't be less interested. It takes a very special kind of girl...and dad!!!
Hellz yeah!
The real American Dad 🇺🇸
I can Just picture Opra,or the women on the view, watching this shaking thier heads saying, what are these parents thinking, teaching thier child about guns lol.
Family goals. Praying for you guys to continue to prosper as a family.
Another fun video, but this time major props to mom. Nice work. You're quite the seamstress.
I love a good Mini-14 vs AR-15 video. My 2 favorite rifles.
I own both, like both.
A family that shoots together stays together, Autumn is joyous to watch and she respects firearms.
Autumn's mom seems so innovative with these mag holders. If they could figure out a way to mass produce them, she could sell the crap out of them.
Someone needs to make mag carriers for Children.
D I es your mom sell any of her stuff
Always good to see Mom and Dad engaged in your videos. Great job Mom on the chest rigs!
If the guy really wanted to win, he can make up a drill that involves pulling something off the top shelf.
These videos make me miss my grandfather.
He is doing a good fathers way!
Dad did the mini proud.

Yeah, But the Mini -14 is easier to clean. lol
I grew up doing this sort of thing vs. my Pop. ( grandfather )
Really hit me in the feels and got me missing him and those halcyon days.

Another Fun Autumn video. The drills looked fun.
Your mom is awesome , those mag pouches rock ! Autumn killed the targets !
Well done Autumn, father and mom. You are A team to rock on.
Have both. Mini 14 is dressed with Tapco stock and a barrel stabilizer rod. Made a big difference in group size. Really wish Ruger would make a heavier barrel option to reduce the "barrel whip" that is an accuracy issur.
The tactical models have a thicker barrel.
@@Justin31789 Do they make an after market, like all of the ones for 10-22s?
My '08, '12, and '23 have thicker barrels than the 78 and '99.
@@robertbeda959yes and no. I believe you can put a newer thicker barrel on an older mini, but you have to change everything to go with it. Basically everything except the bare receiver. Biggest issue is the thermic, not the barrell whip. The thin barrell is heating up really fast.
Love to see the whole family involved. Living the American dream!
You gotta be asleep if you're living a dream.
Or detached and distracted if you're day dreaming while you're awake.
makes you proud to be an American in a time where there isn't much that makes you proud to be an American
Absolutely. Not much of “this” left here
Amazing to see such a demonstration from such a young lady! She is well trained and this is an impressive performance. Stay safe and keep those videos coming.
No Sock Monkey hearing was lost in this video :) Great video idea, guys!
Hi. Fun video. I have ars, never had a mini. Nice to see the differences. Hope you had a great weekend. Hi to the family.
Great shooting as always Autumn! I always love your vids!😎💪🔥One of the best channels on UA-cam!
Great content love the way u keep your daughter so in tuned with guns it’s a very important American tradition 😊keep up the hard work and yes let mom know the chest rigs are simply amazing am gonna be getting one very soon
Any day with autumn is a good day
What an awesome family! I love watching you all have fun together.❤ Everyone is so talented!
Way to go, Autumn, Great Job Very Confident in your shooting!!!
Those chest rigs are really cool. You guys have a business oppourtunity there ya know!
Props to you my brother, cannot tell you how awesome it feels to see a father passing all knowledge to his daughter building her confidence and her skills as well as quality time. New to the channel ,first time I've seen Dad.Very cool guy and clearly a great teacher .Mum's a great seamstress too ,what a family !
Awesome as always

Lol this is not COD homie
Excellent content!!

I no longer own anything on the AR platform, but I do own 5 Mini 14s. Scattered manufacturer dates from '78 until '23.
The Mini-14 is so cool, with the retro vibe but still very usable today.
Fun video !! And I definitely like the chest mag holders made by ' Mom '. I am interested in acquiring a couple, one for 20 round AR mags and another for 20 round AK mags. I like/prefer 20 rounders vs. 30 rounders in both platforms.
I was wondering if I was the only one! 20 round AR mags are a nice compromise between capacity and size.
Jerry Micalek instructed me to move fast enough without falling down.
❤ Great job and I think daddy taught daughter safety first very well.
Enjoyed the show.
I bet the lady that made those purses can make just the chest rig you need...
Autumn's Commandos, tune in each week to follow their exploits. :)

Oh my God I would’ve been freaking pissed
That only applied to new weapons sold, not currently owned ones. If Ruger did that, they did it illegally.
Been a couple months since I watched a vid, my apologies!!
I can't believe how grown up you are now!! Time to take the old man down 🤟🇨🇦🇨🇦🤟

I love the purple ar and the purple lancer mags.
I like the purple A.R. If wasn't concerned about being judged as loopy at the gun range, I would have one.

Dad!... reach over the top with left hand and charge your rifle!😊😊
That's the way a lot of people work an AK also.
Love the paint/camo on the ar
This young lady is so articulate! So much presence, plus modeling her mom's work... Watch her. She will be a world changer.
What a great way to spend an afternoon ❤❤❤... Kudos Dad.........

Spoken like a true firearm expert ❤❤ I have respect for Autumn and her armory

Glad to see you guys making new videos and friends!!! Keep up the great job.
Word to Autumnmomma's satchels, and Autumnpoppa's training! 😎🙋🙌🙏
Really great vids guys! Good job
Mini 14 is great. Those custom mag pouches are smart. I've been stuck using a dump pouch for my 20, 10, and 5 round mags.
Grow strong and be ready, things are about to get really wild.
Next time sounds like fun!
4:05 ... you can release the bolt release lever by using your left hand crossing under the rifle, leaving your shooting trigger hand where it was.
Awesome vid!
I also have a mini 14 and prefer it over my AR

Keep up the good work you two, you must be an extremely proud father.

Oooh, that was a darn good video. Not that the others aren't, but that one was a good,'un.
Respect à cette demoiselle ❤❤❤❤😊
Great video!
On the mini14. Try the AK-47 reach to cycle the bolt.
A well done video.
no illegal will mess with this family, stay strapped.
I knew when she started walking slower then a zombie while reloading that she was going to lose the second drill 😂
With practice, I learned how to drop the bolt on my mini with my left hand without taking my right hand off the rifle. It’s second nature now.
If all you shot was a Mini-14 you wouldn't be looking in the wrong place for the bolt release etc.
Go for the 3 Gun!
I love those pouches
God bless this family!
