Thanks for being expedient to crank out the content. Not often I am prepared to spend much beyond 20 minutes on a video but it's no problem on this channel. Regards the nuts on the other end, a pair of vice grips can take care of that as long as it catches on something and has somewhere to fall safely.
you cud drill out the screws self tapping screws you cud use standard screw driver you cud ad crocadial hiviz scrips for eges of steps on front of the bus
Love the Series 2 VL with its 1989 rego label! That Atlantean is awesome! I can remember riding in them back in the day in Sydney. I know Newcastle had the older double deckers-did they end up with any of these models too?
I ordered those stickers for all my oldies. They look great! Atlanteans only ended up in Newcastle as privateer school buses, not in government service.
As you know Steve, I own 3761 ex kings grove… took up all the flooring none was as tough as that and that’s tough… all my windows seats and interior has gone now .. just a massive van … just trying to source 4x6v batteries cheap lol.
24:30 I guess somebody thought it was better to let Darwinism take its course! Sadly the Atlanteans I rode in the UK only had the upper panel that opened. But then I guess a temperature difference of about 20C may explain the hardware differences :)
Sure mate I’ll subscribe straight from the radio😂 happy to subscribe I have a 1948 Layla d double decker myself
haha thanks!
I can just imagine the fitter who glued that cork down standing back proud and thinking "Well that's not going anywhere"

Another great video Steve I’m enjoying all your videos on these old buses.
much appreciated Dean, thanks for watching!
A basic resto on 1101 is keeping the Chi energy of the thing! It ran 300 miles so It's surprisingly in good nick!

thankyou! I try to keep the videos shortish, but long enough to finish the job each time. I edit on the train to work, so it helps cranking them out!
By the way, mate.
The car you remind me of is.
Year 2000 - Nissan Stagia station wagon
All the wonders of my Asperger's sense of humour.

yes I reckon it was done when the bus was someone's home, in the very hot climate of Lightning Ridge!
