Also, the polls have shifted so dramatically in Trump's favor that even CNN is admitting that Biden has a major problem. And a school district in Virginia has voted to put Confederate General names back on their schools. And, in our Daily Cancellation, the media tells us that there is a new Rosa Parks. A persecuted black woman was told to go the back of the plane by a racist flight attendant. That's the claim, anyway. But, as you can imagine, there's a lot more to the story.

I used to be friends with a woman that had road rages. I don't remember what triggered her to have them, but was still angry at her long-dead adopted mother. I don't know that she ever did anything to _not_ have these road rages. I knew her for almost 19 years.

Hormones make women crazy, they don’t know how to deal with it. And taking BC makes women even crazier. People don’t know how to process and channel emotions these days. And i think talking about it and validating it makes it even worse most of the time. I’m a very unemotional woman and i think it has to do with the fact that i don’t talk about my feelings and dwell on them 24/7. We need to learn to process and channel our emotions into something positive but it’s a skill a lot of people lack.
In general women dont mature as much as men do when it comes to emotions, this is why they are prone to tears over films and minor inconveniences.
How pathetic this is how my niece acts when she’s told it’s time for bed fro the age of 4 to 7 the opposite of what a grown strong woman is supposed to act like.

Little history note. My family has a long lineage in this country, and we had people on both sides of the Civil War. Through stories passed down, diaries, letters etc. we have a lot of information from the mindset of that time. And I will tell you that the soldiers fighting in the Civil War didn’t know about the battle for slavery. It was not on the minds of anybody fighting, on either side. The north realized that the war in the south was being funded predominantly by plantation owners. And those plantation owners used slaves. So the north figured if they made slavery an issue they could attempt to economically destabilize the plantations that were funding the war effort for the south. Those men were fighting to maintain their land, their property ownership. Not slaves, the soldiers were not slave owners and had no stake in the slave trade.
If only people vehemently stood their ground and threw tantrums about things that helped the world and others.

I saw my mom do a rage ritual when I was a kid. She took a cookie sheet and beat it against our clothesline pole. But she had real problems. She was raising seven kids in a small house and my dad was the sole breadwinner at the time and had gotten injured and couldn't work for 6 weeks.

I'm a professional blacksmith now, but I used to be a mental health counselor. And... I strongly suggest finding non-violent ways to release pent-up emotion. Engaging in violence when frustrated teaches your body and mind to go to violence when frustrated, which results in abusing children, spouses, strangers... People need to balance themselves. This is what Matt called "indulgence." Lifting weights is good; hitting a boxing bag is bad. I don't have any emotions that I do not deal with daily. I cannot imagine going to sleep with emotions that you buried and refused to acknowledge.
This actually helps me. I've spent the past 31 years thinking my wife was uniquely psycho, but...I'm strangely relieved to see I'm nowhere near alone.

i'm not gonna lie: the part where Matt is talking about indulgence leading to more indulgence (this instance being within the context of "rage") is hitting hard. he said that screaming like that is actually *introducing* the problem rather than venting it off. i am 40, have had problems with anger my whole life and have fought it in earnest the whole time, and i think Matt Walsh may very well have just handed me the key to understanding something huge.

I read a book by a Southern scholar which was trying to explain to us who are not from the South what they mean by the term "yankee". It is not so much geography but a mindset. One of the key attributes he said that describes a yankee is "someone who is always doing penance for someone else's sins". I think that we have a constant display of that today.
I am old. I was there. I’m calling b.s. on the implication that anti-whiteism was a driving force to the civil rights movement. There were fringe elements that had anti-white agendas, but that was a minority of the minority. There was still much institutional racism to be dealt with. Just because that wouldn’t bother some people, that doesn’t mean it should have been tolerated. The culture needed fixing. Many improvements happened. Most of the current racial issues being raised by political activists are only being used to sow discord. Victim status as an excuse for underachieving. But in the fifties and early sixties there was still intolerable behavior that wasn’t going away without action.
As for the retired entitled judge, she's looking for a payout, these are the most entitled, weak people on earth. Always behaving like no other people behave, always with an attitude and always with the same agenda.
I helped cater a dinner for Democrats at a local place(Moose Lodge) about 20 years ago. They sold tickets and told us to expect 100-110 people. We also were supposed to sell dinners to the Moose members on a walk in basis. we prepped about 130 meals. The night of the event they say, they sold 125 tickets. Math is math. Now, a few members showed up early and received meals, but we ran out. At that point when the members showed up, we had to say no, we do not have anything to sell you, sorry.
This has happened before, everyone understands, no issues. 4 Black female members showed up over an hour after the dinner started, they had no issues, figured they would ask. About 20 minutes later, I get confronted by the lodge administrator and event organizers, they need to talk to me in private. I was in the social area (bar) of the moose lodge, I said we don't need to talk in private about anything, if you have complaints, tell me. They give me a stern look, if that is what you want, some of our guests saw you turn away 4 black women from the event. I say yes, I also turned away about 20 white members, you increased the number of tickets you said you sold at the last minute, we ran out of meals.
They say, but meals were still coming out of the kitchen. Yes because the size of the kitchen does not allow us to serve 125 people at once. I say, hey How many people came in expecting to buy a dinner and I said no. Everyone raises their hands, the black chicks were good friends of mine we helped each other out, they are saying we showed up an hour late, we knew there wasn't much of a chance. The crazy part, after the shrugged their shoulders, they didn't find a sacrificial racist, they went back to the dinner. At the end the come up to me and ask if I would cater their next event. You just accused me of being a racist, and now you want me to cater another event? That was the last time I did anything but small only volunteer type dinners.
The point is. The people with the vantage point to see me turn away the 4 black woman, also saw me turn away the 20 white people before them. They had zero reaction to that. Nobody said anything until they thought they saw something. People buy into this crap, because they want a villain. If a white person described the same situation on a plane, nobody would have cared. They do not mention the race of the attendant because they were black, I can guarantee you, if they were white, they would not have said a word. Lose your job, any possibility of future employment in the industry, or just shut up. It is what it is.
