I did a full resto on my 87 cruiser like this once. Worst mod was the Ls3. Best mod was Old man Emu springs, King shocks and ARB lockers. Damn thing got way too much attention but it was fun!
Hey from Kannapolis! Great to see such amazing work being done in NC. Honestly, I think this is the best in the business. You really pay attention to so many crucial details and everything is so functional. It feels more like the way it should have come from the factory. Usually, restomods are more blatant and obvious. But this has such a beautiful balance between original and new. Such an impressive build! I finally found a 2007 LX 470 a couple of months ago after years of saving and searching. But if I could ever restore an older Cruiser, it'd be a no-brainer to bring it to your shop.
I try to always love my 2002 4Runner like these craftsmen & women and owners love these things. Slowly, but surely I’m making it my own. thanks for all the inspiration always!
Great video. I love the simplicity. Quick question what are the price ranges of the stage 3 builds if the customer provides the vehicle? $60,000-100,000?
Please…build one of these and then hold a lottery, tickets are 100.00 a piece, till you get to your cost covering your margins. Because in spite of my best planning, unless I sell one of my kids, and come to think of it, I do have too many….thats the only way I’ll ever own one of these amazing vehicles. Such quality, I’m sure it makes Toyota blush. Thanks just the same…
Aren't toyota s known for their reliability? So why are they installing a Chevy engine ? Is a toyota or lexus engine not good enough? Seems like sacrilege to me.
It's more of an american thing. They're obsessed with V8 and Horsepower numbers. They'll put a V8 in anything and a Chevy LS is readily available option for them, easy to modify as well, plenty of parts available.
@floofy117 Will toyota v8s work? Like the one used in the Land Cruser 200, Tundra, and Sequoia? Just curious? Or even the 6cylinder used in the FJ cruiser?
@@floofy117not just an American thing. You can’t buy crate engines from Toyota and what you can get is aftermarket refurbished and WAY more expensive.. not to mention small black Chevy parts are more readily available globally because they are so commonly used as an aftermarket powertrain
@@iongolfpro no. It's an American thing m Chevrolet parts, ESPECIALLY crate engines are not common globally. They are common in North America only. What's extremely common globally is other Toyota parts since globally we have an abundance of land cruisers and other Toyotas that share similar powertrains with landcruiser to use as donors parts for much cheaper than it would cost to import chevy crate engines from NA. It's most racing companies or tuning companies that would bother with importing crate engines for that purpose. So yeah it's definitely just a USA/North America thing to put LS engines in everything
Absolute perfection. Dream car, right here.
if i ever hit the lottery, one of my first few trips will be to your facility to start the design process for my Toyota ! Great stuff !!

Too cool! Subbed!
Should have done the 3UR-FE engine.
So so clean. Do you guys ever restore to original and not put chevy motor in?
Absolutely - whatever the customer is looking for.
How much all this cost including the vehicle
This looks like almost a terminal list tv show clone!
Great work..looking for one to bring to you for RESTO
All that work to be ruined with led lights. This need a bixenon retorfit

@@gazelam1973 yes it can work. Some of them will take some effort to adjust and need additional parts to make it all work together though.
