From the social media blackout, to the drop of LWYMMD lyric video, as well as the premiere of the most epic music video ever conceived in the history of mankind during MTV VMAs 2017 that Katy hosted. She even embraced the snake motif that people used to bully her. As well as the epic album rollout from August 23, 2017 to November 10, 2017 despite the _there is no explanation, there will just be reputation_ campaign. Despite critics saying that *reputation* isn't a comeback album since the preceding album, 1989, was her most successful (before 1989 Taylor's Version was released), considering the cancellation and the hardships we went through, *reputation* will be our comeback album, and it is undeniably the comeback of the century. Since she was cancelled before, predictions say that the *reputation stadium tour* in 2018 is too ambitious (as it is an all stadium tour) and she will be playing in near-empty stadiums. This is such a top tier album for me because the lyrics and the production are so in sync with how the lyrics are supposed to make you feel/how Taylor felt when she was going through it. She mentioned that she always wants to be able to take a song & have it be tripped back down acoustically, despite whatever production was added to it which I sooo much appreciate. A 10/10 no skip album.

Getaway Car is about leaving Calvin Harris after 1 year romance. She needed a reason. So, she dated Loki/Tom Hiddleston for months. She met Joe Alwyn (Emma Stone was a common friend of Taylor and Joe, that's how they met) at the same time with Tom at Met Gala. She wrote a Gorgeous song about Joe. She couldn't hold it anymore. Thus, she left Tom for Joe. Tom was okay with it and they had no bad blood with Taylor according to his interview.
Joe was a private person. They dated for 6 years away from the public.
Different guys she dated (Don't Blame Me) but finally found someone who loved her in spite of her bad reputation created by the media (Delicate).
