I was widowed very young with a small child, and used my teaching degree for several years. Then I wanted more. I went to law school in my 40s, opened my own business and became a Christian at age 52. My family hated all of it! Even the church looked askance to me sometimes. At least some of the members did. Happy to say my pastor did not and encouraged my work in the pro-life movement. He complimented me for being articulate and liked that I wanted to use my strengths. I emigrated on my own, had to hustle while i had a masters degree, took another degree while working, built my own empire and haven't found the right man yet...and thats ok. Who set our minds???? Children learn by modelling, so our parents, our surroundings, so most people haven't got a chance, broken from the get go.We also learn who we are how our parents treat us, children have a different mind from adults, if a parent mistreat a child, the child will blame her/ himself, will belive whatever the adult tells, shows them no matter what. As an advocate to end domestic violence due to my mother's death by my father's hand in front of me, I feel this very word is a word for all young ladies! I say that because when we aren't aware of who we are we miss the abuse at times at it's earliest state because we aren't aware of our own value. Not from others, but from within. I was widowed very young with a small child, and used my teaching degree for several years. Then I wanted more. I went to law school in my 40s, opened my own business and became a Christian at age 52. My family hated all of it! Even the church looked askance to me sometimes. At least some of the members did.
Happy to say my pastor did not and encouraged my work in the pro-life movement. He complimented me for being articulate and liked that I wanted to use my strengths.

I emigrated on my own, had to hustle while i had a masters degree, took another degree while working, built my own empire and haven't found the right man yet...and thats ok. I recognized I couldn’t heal myself. I’m renewing my relationship with God and went into intense therapy. Today was my last session. The main thing that helped me was facing the truth of my childhood traumas that caused the unhealthy patterns in my life. God is so good!

Children learn by modelling, so our parents, our surroundings, so most people haven't got a chance, broken from the get go.We also learn who we are how our parents treat us, children have a different mind from adults, if a parent mistreat a child, the child will blame her/ himself, will belive whatever the adult tells, shows them no matter what.
