As a South African, I was told by a Nigerian man that it was all part of his culture ( Iibo land ) to flaunt wealth and success for inspiration back home, as their were expected to be wealthy and over come pressure not to come back home or visit being broke. We as people ( including South Africans ) must look at the world being bigger than ourselves, that way we will understand each other and stop judging each other and being selfish!!!
