Ze Germans could have given it a better factory lube and oil but! I had several light strikes in the first 50 rounds, turns out the bolt carrier assembly was really dry and not carrying forward properly ,,,lesson learned it likes to run really wet, like the missus
As you said..she’s a bit fussy with ammo not in terms of feeding but accuracy, mine only seems to like the 55 but then it is the shorter barrel..
Once you find what it likes it’s a joy to shoot …but MOA out the box…yerr right
I’ve stuck on a hogue overmoulded pistol grip and magpul AFG, the 2 stage trigger runs fine for target and I’m happy with it , don’t feel the need to do anything else

Really helpful review bud, thanks! How do you find the 1 in 9 twist? It’s the only thing putting me off as would like to shoot it out to 600 yards. Any idea how it groups at larger distances? Appreciate it can’t handle super heavy rounds..

These should be made available in the US. I’d love to have one. Some of the Schmeisser parts are available but not the rifles.
Great video. Out of interest which range are you using? Is it NRA approved? The reason I am asking I trying to set up a similar set up at a club, and wish to know how far we can push the boundaries.
Hi , I have a schmeisser SP15, does anyone no if play on side loading handle is normal, I remove it for cleaning etc, however majority of time it’s in place,

If I could make a request: Can you show how the bolt and straightpull mechanism works? I assume there must be some kind of locking mechanism that prevents the bolt from moving back when a round is fired. But for me it seems like there is no rotating function on the bolthandle to release such a lock, so how does this work?
I've ordered a SP15 LMR, but it won't arrive until mid/late january 2022.

hey bro I just ordered an LMR too that will arrive in 3 days how do you like it ? i guess a lot but would be nice to have your feedback even if mine will be slightly different because i'm french and mine is chambered in 222 rem, slightly less powerfull but nevertheless a great caliber from what I ear even better than 223 in some aspects like accuracy but hey we'll see I guess 😁

It’s a stainless barrel not chrome.
