This video is great - so detailed!! I really want to get the rotary attachment and slide extension; I think it would help me make even more projects. I would love a video on how to make a jig, please 😊
Really nice! Ok now i guess it’s time for me to pull my slide extension out of the box. You made it look so easy. I was hesitant to buy jigs but yours came out so nice. Where did you buy your long wood from?
The benefit of it is that you can actually engrave on metal. So, not painted metal where you are layering off the paint like I did in this video, but on actual metal. My last video showed me experiment on several things. The drawback is that it has a smaller working area. So, it really depends on what you would do with a laser as to whether this would be the right one for you.
Hello! I enjoy your videos! TIP as a Macintosh tech specialist for years, don’t let your desktop accumulate hundreds of documents and folders! It will make your computer slow since the Ram have to keep them visible and keeps refreshing the FINDER. Also can corrupt the files system. I also generate hundreds of files🤦🏻😝
It’s a 3 mm thick craft wood. I don’t remember if I got it at Hobby Lobby or if it was a large sheet from a store like Lowe’s or Menards that my husband cut down.
Hello, nice video! I have questions about the slide extension: Do I have to carry out the calibration every time the extension is installed and I use the F1 without it? and my 2nd question! If there are, for example, 4 coasters in the xcs, do I have to align them exactly and then measure exactly this distance on the extension and then align them? Sorry, I'm a beginner with the F1. best regards from Dortmund/Germany
I have not calibrated each time but it wouldn't hurt. I do measure each time and then make sure my placement is good by using the framing function. Thank you for watching!

It ended up being super easy. I like how the software guides you through setting it up. I got my wood at Home Depot and had it cut down.
Great I’m going to set mine up tomorrow. Thanks for sharing@@MakingwithMarilyn
@@becomingdryork2919 that is great!!!
That is so awesome Marilyn. I love what you did. Is there a lot you can do with this tool?❤

Thank you! Yes, it was really easy to use.
What wood were you using?

I have a question. Im looking for a machine that cuts shapes for me to make make up holders. Love your videos.
Thank you so much! What do you plan to cut the make up holders out of? Also, about how large will they be?
The desktop tho😮 😂
IKR, I really need to work on that🥹
