    Love the videos Baav. How long do you heat press your prints and at what temp??

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  9 місяців тому +1

      Glad you love them! I only heat press for max 10 seconds usually less. About 300 degrees. The heat press at the end is really just to make the print extra smooth and plus it gives you a extra benefit of insuring a second curing process for the ink

    Your videos are so great! Love the hustle.
    2 questions:
    1. Do you use any additives/reducers with your white ink? (What white ink do you use?)
    2. I have the same heavier badass squeegee you use. How does that compare to a regular squeegee and a lighter Easygrip squeegee? Does it affect print quality or is it just more ergonomical?

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  9 місяців тому +1

      Thank you man!
      1. No reducers or additives in my white, straight out the gallon. In this video I was using stark white from monarch color
      2. The badass squeegee is amazing. I specifically have only been using it for white ink. White ink can be a pain manually so the heavier one is just built strong and helps me maintain a consistent pressure and force on the ink. Regular squeegees are great as well but for my white ink I wanted something that will be a bit easier and less strain on my wrists so the badass squeegee is a life saver in that sense. The lighter easy grip squegees are just not my cup of tea. They are just too flimsy for me, I’ve tried them out and don’t like them. Which is why I got the heavy bad ass squeegee

      @@baavproductions Thanks for the information, you're awesome. I noticed that you used to push and started pulling and that Badass Squeegee probably helped with that. I'll have to dust mine off and give it a shot again sometime! It's nice to know you really enjoy it and that it's worked for you.
      Thanks again man, keep up the good work!

    Still using the Canon Pro 100? Almost all the printers people are using are no longer sold. Do you just use standard inks to print film?

      @@baavproductions Awesome, another printer discontinued printer! I wonder if there is another T series that works using with standard ink. With this kind of investment I'd like to be able to print other things with it also. What software are you using for seperation and half tones?

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  9 місяців тому

      @dubworth yeah film printers are a tough world. There is no “official” printer made for us screen printers for separations. All printers are usually just regular printers that we just turn into printers for simple black seps. When I first started I used the canon pixma ix6820 printer for my seps since it can print up to 11x17. I have a link in my description for it.
