everyday use words can't be trademarked, as an example I could not trademark the word BLUE, nor TREE... but if I combine them to create a new word or something unique I can trademark such as BLUETREE.
Amen Brother! I didn’t feel a green light to get into a business until I asked Him first and He said He would be with me in it. He is so good and faithful! But that’s definitely another thing He said-Put Me first! He must come first! God bless you in your business Brother! 😊🙌🏼
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us especially when putting images that I like on my T-Shirt for personal use. I don't wanna get in any legal trouble. This was a very informative video
Hey Mylo, speaking of legally: I live in Texas, and in our county it's illegal to let the water that was used to wash out screens for inks and emulsion run down the drain. Is that the case for yall in your county/city? And if so, how do you address this issue? I imagine having a filtration system or a water tank that gets picked up regularly is a bit expensive...

There are various reasons why some cartoon/fanart designs do flatten, shot with camera while printed on tee, and the designs were never available to purchase: 1. Creator lose access to the original psd/cdr file. 2. Design owned by corporate merch store i.e h&m, uniqlo. 3. Creator are not comfortable for giving artwork to public. 4. Hello, Mylo.. I am new to print on demand and I’ve been designing in canva but I recently found out that I can use their elements but I am not allowed to copyright which makes sense. As a new business owner I would like to own everything that I design but I’m not able to find someone who can create what I’m looking for. Would you happen to have any advice for this ?
I do not agree with AI pic to belong to you. I think its free for all. But the moment you edit it it can be yours. AI of Mario is still Nintendo owned but if it can not be identified as anything with copyright you can modify it to be yours. Ad initials can be enough. I love kittl but it is restricting my style why I gimp a lot of it to suit my style.
Yes, very True, I was going based on Kittl policy, but I did miss a lot of solid points. Kittl grants the User, who is on a Pro or Expert Subscription plan, exclusive ownership and all associated rights to any images generated using the Kittl AI image generator (“AI-Generated Images”). The User may: Use AI-Generated Images as part of individual(ized) designs on the Kittl Platform Use AI-Generated Images independently for any commercial or non-commercial purpose, subject to the following terms: 1. Full ownership rights apply only to AI-Generated Images and not to Kittl Content 2. Users must ensure that AI-Generated Images do not infringe upon third-party rights AI-Generated Images, created by the User in a Free plan subscription, are published with the community and fall under “3) Publishing user created designs and AI-Generated Images”.
Wow! This whole “AI” thing is very complicated and a little scary to thing that we as people are becoming dependent on something artificial that removes the very thing that makes us human, love, compassion, empathy.

great info...until you brought in AI. smh like you man. lot of respect for you but cant respect AI usage. AI-generated images may still infringe on existing trademarks, even if they don't include specific elements like a logo or color. Derivative works may be trained on a brand's images, and may still have stylistic elements that suggest the brand's content was used. And to add, YOU CAN NOT COPYRIGHT AI generated images. Someone in the creative field should understand AI usage and its ethical issues. pick up a pencil or HIRE A DESIGNER.

If it looks and represents the brand, it could still fall under trademark, but I will contact a professional in this.

To be honest I don't know, if never use canvas.
Yes, but Canva is raising their prices. So Kittl is more affordable
