Because they hide close to civilians and Israel has no choice but to let them go and when they don't they get backlash so they have no choice
So it means nothing because they're just going back to empty positions?

Losing
@@thomaskia8441 so its genocide when they're attacking. but losing when they withdraw and DONT kill? are you people this stupid?
Losing
The safest assumptions I have on why Israeli troops are withdrawing from Northern Gaza would be:
1. International pressure
2. Constant guerilla attacks from Hamas made the soldiers lose morale bit by bit
3. Uncle Sam and his gang have other plans up their sleeves
yes. Israel is the only country that is not allowed to win a war.
We have a dogshit prime minister, he destroyed relations with the US, and now we have been forced to leave the area, allow Hamas to remilitarise there and populations to move north once more without the return of our hostages.
We have lost this war.

@@YourBelovedAme No. Hamas fighters and terrorists are part of that count.
well... things turned around real quick...
Israel didn’t lose military it just doesn’t want to deal with the international problems finishing this war legitimately would have
Previous Gaza wars in 2000s was quick and no-one noticed.
But 2023-2024, actually the longest almost a year for Southern Levant
Can be diplomatically won and won people’s hearts I guess?
this isn't real quick, it turned around real quick at the start of the stuff
Wrong, they are simply withdrawing because they can’t fight a war if terrorists are holding up in a city filled with patsies of Hamas control.
the war wouldve continued if it werent for the western snowflakes and gullible people
but dont worry its not over
and its far from over
How did Israel took over the whole Sinai region during the 6 Day War but struggling to take over the Gaza Strip for months?
International pressure
Conventional Military vs Terror Organization.
Egypt wasn't fighting by deploying terror Organisation that hides themselves among the civilians in a densely populated area.
Urban warfare is difficult, also Egypt was caught off-guard by the initial attack in the 6 Day War
tbf the sinai is for the most part empty desert while gaza is incredibly densely populated
Because international pressure, and that they weren't trying to annex that area in the first Place.
Unfortunately, this will just repeat in 10-15 years.
I hate how much this is true
its not over yet
an invasion into rafah already has a set date
israel withdrew only because of western pressure because of gullible people and snowflakes of the western world
That’s how it is with religious warfare. Over and over and over again.
@@quite-the-homosapien This...isn't really about religion. But it will be once the Red Heffer Crap happens

NEW UPDATE AS OF NOW: ISRAEL WITHDRAWS FROM SOUTHERN GAZA

Real life Uno reverse card
I feel like Gaza is becoming Israel's Vietnam in a way. Once news of the crimes committed by Israel reach outside they don't really have the international support they had before. Also Netanyahu is extremely unpopular even among his own citizens.
In a way is right, cause unlike America or France they could win. I'd say that while yes, Israel has committed crimes, and we shouldn't dismiss them, but also, we're talking about a terrorist group that does the same things but worse, it's just not as big because hamas doesn't have the resources to do it on a large scale
not like that. Israel withdrew from Gaza because of the Western world pressure. 20 Hamas battalions have been dismantled and all in northern Gaza and central Gaza. Only 4 remaining in Rafah .
Netanyahu is unpopular because he hasn't gotten those Israeli hostages back yet, I feel like the person after Netanyahu will likely be more aggressive in the war

Huge W from Spain
It's the official government of Palestine, not Hamas, so its honestly pretty based on their part
serious question: why did they retreat instead of putting more garnisons? is Israel stupid?
International pressures. Also they need their garrisons in the north. Syria and Iraq may not be that strong, but they are far more capable than Hamas who is only surviving off of UN demands and geography (as in difficult area to invade)
Why didn't Isreal call the Justice League? Is it stupid?
Israel is gearing up toward the Rafah offensive I believe, or focusing more on the Lebanese front
@@kyleb7974Cope. International pressure never forces an army to retreat from its objectives, its because Israel is losing. The amount of cope is wild, its like saying Russia retreated from Kharkov and Kherson because of good will measures
@@ibrahimattaiaa.908International pressures always plays a factor. Not main factor but factor none of the less. Kharkov’s retreat was to gain a better front line. In order to stabilize in order to avoid any breakthroughs (Which did succeed since Ukraines offensives led to disaster). Big problem with the north is just the lack of objectives. They destroyed the garrisons in Northern Gaza, and do not see them as a threat.
A bigger factor that is making the war last long is geography. Palestine has little road thus playing difficult for Israel to actually supply their troops to the fullest. The geography and environment also do not favour the one going on offensive. This is why Israel is planning on the Rafah offensive despite USA demands to not do so.
It is the only objective left that would completely decimate Hamas. Before Syria or Iraq get involved, who are MUCH stronger than Hamas.

I dont know why people think that Israel withdrawing its forces is them "losing the war." The Nahal brigade (which is the only brigade left in Khan Younis) consists of 2000-5000 troops, considering that now all they have to do is take defensive positions, they can easily defend Khan Younis since something like 50-60% of Hamas is killed/injured/arrested. Also They are concentrating their forces on Rafah. Rafah will most likely see the bloodiest battles occurring.
For the most part I’d say it’s wishful thinking and underdogism. Israel has entered the phase where it’s now just sweeping up the rest of Hamas, there’s no reason for it to keep its troops in areas that’ve been completely destroyed. But due to underdogism people will see the words “Israel withdraws troops” and go “YAY HAMAS IS WINNING!!!!”
