It does NOT work on Model S, because the nag notification in Model S cannot be undone by turning the scroll wheel. This product will only work if you can eliminate the nog by turning the scroll wheel. The Model S does not support that.

Not true. 2020 and earlier use the same device for the X or S

Can you show me the video for the 2017 Model X? I have a four pin connector instead of three.
