I was concerned about the size for a full tarot, but the cardstock makes it very easy for my tiny hands to shuffle. Tarot of Echos. Indie was not possible for me, but I will likely get it MM. I am super excited about your Kickstarter. I have every intention of backing at some level, but finances have been rather tight since last August. Will you continue to produce your deck after it has gone out to backers? I never thought I would want a unicorn deck, but I WANT this one.
Yessssss! The Sylankind deck is so emotional for me as well. My first experience with this creator........✨ I love trees so much, so when I saw it on Kickstarter I HAD to back it. The connection I feel with this is "deeply rooted"😂🥰 🌳🌲it's so earthy in a cerebral, spiritual, playful, sweet and kind way......reminding us how to continue to connect with nature. I suck at words....but man it's great!🤩
I get the feeling that the Baroque Deck is created with AI. It just has that feel to it. What do you think? And, how do you feel about AI decks? I'm curious as to your take on it. The Ego Observer is my favorite of this group. That's mostly because I'm delving into Jung and now moving into Shadow Work. Your roundups are the best. You hit all the key points and I am very appreciative of your honesty.
Hi! I haven't noticed any video/audio issues - i do love these round ups! I always pick up at least one deck 😂. And would looooove to find a Buddha Doodles deck! Looks like Molly isnt doing them any more? 😭

As a fellow content creator here I know that things are not always easy to manage with family, work, fur-babies and life in general! I had been experimenting with recording straight to my computer from my camera, but no matter what settings I played with on the computer, I was losing quality... it honestly was likely an issue with the cord I am using, so I may try again with a higher speed USB c and see if I can use that setup because it does save me a step of having to move the memory card to computer. Not the end of the world either way, though.
@@Lisa_Papez I understand because I change my setting all the time too! My current biggest problem is space.... where do you save all these videos??? I'm going to have to invest in a massive external drive :(
@@fairlighttarot I have 2TB on my computer hard drive, but honestly? As soon as the video is edited and uploaded to UA-cam, I delete the footage. :) I don't keep the raw files at all. LOL Not necessarily the best YT habit in case there are issues - but you can re-download old videos if you want, they just will be at a reduced quality.
Thank you for your review of the Ego Observer Tarot. I applaud your tact discussing the campaign. As another backer who was highly active in the comments, this experience was so horrible that I've sworn off backing Kickstarter decks unless I already know the creator has integrity (like you!). I think I was one of the first to get my deck back at the start of the year and I haven't been able to look at it since an initial flip through. It's such a quality deck with beautiful art and a brilliant concept (though I agree about the legibility of the cards and book). I genuinely hope after a few years my negative emotions about the campaign will wane and I'll actually be able to use it.

I kinda appreciate you being hyper aware and “obnoxious” about readability. As someone who is legally blind and into Tarot it makes me sad when things are easy to read. Granted my partner has to do most of the guide-book reading since my eyes get tired fast even if the book is big enough text (keywords are my friends). But I do wish it was something people were more conscious about. Then again, my partner and I have gone on LONG talks about making things more accessible and I work in the accessibility field so I’m kind of focused on seeing when things aren’t “working” and will likely bring that up when we make videos, but I will say I appreciate that it’s something you’re conscious about in your deck, because it makes me happy. On another note… now I need to get all FOUR of the Three Trees decks and they WON’T be cheap. But I NEED! :D Just because I’m a nerd. 98% wasn’t far off. It’s closer to 97% you like because of decimals and rounding, but… it hardly matters.

@@Learntarott Yeah, usually when my partner and I draw cards she reads the info, but I have guidebooks I want to read cover to cover and I just can’t, and I’m not asking her to read all that out loud :D. Sometimes I get frustrated that many of my biggest hobbies (reading (when there aren’t audio books), video games and Tarot) are highly visual and not always accessible. And I could rant about it for ages :D

Hi Lisa, I also have the "Tarot of Echoes".... I am also very impatient...But I am so glad I am. I love this deck. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it is such a straight shooter when telling me what I need to know. Like snack me inn the face !...I love a deck that can call me out in this way. I hate spell decks I feel like their cheesy and more poems than actual spells depending on the writer and publisher. but I think I can like this a lot. I actually love it it’s on my list now. Of all the decks you've covered here, the one I'd most like to see a review of (except, of course, for the Unicorn's Journey 😊) is the Erenberg Tarot. I've seen critiques on it re: its lack of diversity, but would love a balanced opinion on it. Like you, I enjoy tarot decks that offer a fresh perspective, and that one certainly does. Thanks!
If the edges of the cards are rough... rub them on a pair of jeans or even pant-legs, the fabric will act as an emery board. That's a tip from poker players and card magicians
Video and sound quality is perfect. I understand your feelings when deck creators don't communicate often. I did a pre-order last year with the deck supposed to arrive 11/2023. Still waiting, as I recieve replys from my emails it is one problem after another. Now I just feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
It can be tricky for sure! Problems definitely do happen and as much as we try to foresee...it's impossible to prevent every issue... but communication is so important!

The Sylvankind Oracle has become a very shadow deck along with pairing it with The Guardian Tarot and I have had a very similar reaction with it as you did. It is powerful for sure.

Just want to start by saying I’m not a stocker, just have a great memory and was really excited when Sylvankind Oracle was on Kickstarter, I listened it as a deck for your hot takes video… you didn’t back it because around that time you also bought an indie tree deck from Mags Black. You weren’t sure if they would compete with each other. I have one of Mags decks so knew if was different energies, but I realize people need to experience one of Mags deck to feel how special they are. Anyway just wanted to let you know because you sound frustrated why you could remember the reason for not backing the kickstarter.
AH YES! That's right! Thank you so much for remembering for me! I love my Tree Whisper by Mags Black but agree - totallllly different energy!! I was frustrated I couldn't remember. I can get a little weirded out when I don't remember things sometimes.

This deck gave me goosebumps while watching you flip through the cards. I had attempted to behave myself for the next few months, a very slow intentional but for just select few decks I’ve been waiting on preorders to go live, but this I couldn’t help it, immediate purchase without blinking an eye. This deck is profound and the response I felt was just soulful. Doing a no/slow buy and watching a Lisa video is cute lol.
I have only been watching your videos for a little while so I would love if you could show us how you round corners of decks. And even tips about how to edge them. :)
I love the color of the Wyrd Sisters card backs…the affair is real, that purple is just so delish to me. I actually purchased Witchlings because of you (among many other decks, lol) and I adore that deck to pieces. I missed out on the preorder of Tarot of Echoes 🥺 but I’m impatiently counting down the days until the preorder goes live for Heartwood Tarot…I’m definitely channeling Veruca from Willy Wonka when it comes to that deck..😍 can’t wait for your kickstarter too, love!

Wyrd Sisters was originally an indie deck. I got it to use as an oracle/spell paired with Lilifer. I think it is a wonderful deck.

I love the color of the Wyrd Sisters card backs…the affair is real, that purple is just so delish to me. I actually purchased Witchlings because of you (among many other decks, lol) and I adore that deck to pieces.
I missed out on the preorder of Tarot of Echoes 🥺 but I’m impatiently counting down the days until the preorder goes live for Heartwood Tarot…I’m definitely channeling Veruca from Willy Wonka when it comes to that deck..😍 can’t wait for your kickstarter too, love!
