    Uau , you have excellent taste !
    For me, having a tarot is like holding small works of art in the palm of your hand, it's magical!

    Our taste in cards is VERY different, but I also really like La Corte dei Tarocchi to work with. (Seems like a lot of folks say they just have it but don’t use it.). I’m a big fan of William Blake’s poetry since childhood, and I have the deck, but when I realized that elemental shift in the depictions, I set it aside until I can really focus on it. Thank you SO MUCH for your really clear explanation of the element discrepancy and how you work with it. I know that will be helpful. And… I think you sold me on serpent and peacock & Slavic legends! 😅 I know I looked at serpent and peacock before because it reminds me of medieval marginalia drawings… but seeing more of it, I think it’s going onto my must have list!!! 😊
    Thank you so much! I❤

      Not to influence you even more but I LOVE matching Corte Anna with S&P. They speak so well together! Blaketarot.com gives more information as to why the elements were switched, so I found that useful to sift through when I first got the deck.
      I find Slavic Legends is my #1 deck for client readings. I pair it with Terra Botanical (featured #1 here), and clients LOVE the artwork. It helps me as well to remember how beautiful the world is since the details and saturation are so rich in nature. Definitely an unbeatable deck in my collection for sure!
      Thank you for watching! 💕

    Totally agree about Serpent an Peacock, Herbcrafter's Taro, William Blake Tarot. And OMG the Aztec Tarot is cool. I might do a VR. 🩷🩷

    2nd comment: I love when you said “if I had to save anything from a fire, hopefully my husband would go for our birth certificates, because I’m going straight from my tarot decks“. That had me literally laughing out loud. For me, if I had to grab one deck only, it would be the circle of doorstarot.

      Megan, that deck gives me CHILLS when I see it on screen. It seems like it would be an incredibly magical reader. I love that your favorite deck is a bit uncommon as well! 💖

    Yes Kaite! I think “decks that make you believe in tarot“ would be an outstanding tag! If I had a channel, I would do it myself. Lol.
    And now that I’m thinking about it, when I do my deck culls once a year, the decks that I keep in my collection are the ones that make me believe in tarot. It can’t just be a pretty face. It has to affect me on a deep level. I love how you described the serpent and peacock as a tease and like flirting. I did not think that was weird at all. I loved it! The two decks you showed here that are on my wish list are the William Blake tarot and the Slavic legends tarot. Thanks for another great video!

    • @MoonflowerMoments
      @MoonflowerMoments  2 місяці тому

      Okay, Megan, so when you are you starting your channel?! 😝 I'd be your biggest watcher. 🥰
      SAME. I don't really rehome, but there is a clear connection between what I use for readings and the electricity I feel from decks. If it falls flat, I will retry, but it's like pulling teeth. 😬
      How is Voyager working for you? Did you get it? I feel that it is VERY similar to WB. If you get along with the wacky, fire energy of one, you definitely can handle the other. 🥰

      @@MoonflowerMoments Lol. I know Kaite. I have been thinking about starting my own channel for the past two years, but I struggle with the imposter syndrome thing, and because I’m a relatively new tarot reader, I’m definitely nervous about people judging me for my lack of knowledge. I know these are all just excuses because, who cares what people think right? I go back-and-forth with this decision all the time. Eventually I will do it, but I don’t know when.
      I’m struggling a bit with the voyager tarot because the cards are so busy. I don’t think I realized how much I need a focal point on the cards to hone in on for reading intuitively. Voyager tarot has too many things going on and I can’t seem to narrow down my focus. But I have not given up. I am treating it more like a deep dive study at this point. And I purchased the big guidebook, so that has been helpful. If you have any pointers for how I can better read the cards intuitively, I would love to hear it.

      I completely understand you! I waited about 2 years before I decided to hop in. I (along with other content creators) are happy to have you here no matter what form you choose to participate in. 💖💖 Your input is always so thoughtful and valuable.
      I just mentioned in my Fire Decks for Courts that Voyager sometimes feels like a bull in a china shop. 😬 I've been using it for a daily pulls some, no massive readings yet. I tend to look at the keyword and then *only* focus on the part(s) of the image that align with that keyword. I guess in that way, I'm reading it more like an oracle? I do enjoy the system's approach to the minors correlating to the majors with the same number, but since it's so unlike anything else I own, I'm dipping my toes in slowly and throwing away the parts of the image that seem to be unrelated.
      A friend and I had a back and forth discussion of what intuition means the other day. I concluded that reading intuitively is just as much as saying confidently what the card *is not* just as much as it is saying what the card *is*... So you can see the act of narrowing down the image as part of flexing your intuitive muscle as well. 🙂

    I have always had a hard time connecting with Tarot decks (I use Oracle decks like - Medicine Cards, Sacred Path Cards, Druid Animal Oracle, Celtic Tree Oracle, and similar decks), and it's very rare for me to find a Tarot deck to connect with. Thus far the only actual "proper" Tarot deck I have is my Dragon Tarot by Terry Donaldson, which is a very blunt and direct, no nonsense deck.

    I love that you have a deck that you use with your house. Green witch is one of my favorites. I love hearing how it fits in different people's practices because i often use it through the winter. I don't think I've ever seen the William Blake tarot. Thanks for sharing your top 10

    • @MoonflowerMoments
      @MoonflowerMoments  2 місяці тому +1

      @@carriesmysticalmusings, I have never used it in the winter. Is it the backs that bring that to mind for you? The sweet, homey nature? When Witch's Garden came out last year, I saw a lot of people declutter it, so I'm glad to see it has a solid place in your collection. I think there can be enough room for both. 💖
      Do you have a similar video? I would love to watch it if so!

    • @carriesmysticalmusings
      @carriesmysticalmusings 2 місяці тому

      @@MoonflowerMoments well I should say I use it fall /winter now after getting more witchy decks in my collection. Yes the backs may contribute to it but it does have that homey nature to it. I haven't done a top 10 decks because I don't think I could choose. It's like choosing a favorite child 🤣🤣🤣

    Have you seen the best oracle that's coming soon from Serpent and Peacock? It is 😍. I agree, Carol's decks are just intriguing with their artwork. William Blake is on my desk right now, love the art, but I haven't been called to actually use it. Great picks 🌞🌻

      Do you know the name of the oracle off the bat? I know The Tarot of Paul's Moon is coming out soon. I *love* the artwork, but it uses some repeating images from S&P, so I'm on the fence about whether to get it. 😬 I'm not sure if I've seen the oracle, though.
      It's best to use when you are honing your creative voice. ✨️ That little guidebook is powerful!
