Here's a very cool Custom Performance series horn by Logan. I picked this horn at ITG and to be totally honest am very tempted by it and if I had room in the collection I'd buy it for sure.
I think for me the horn has a bit more edge, carry, and crispness than other Thane models I have tried. Those Getzen valves are just fantastic as well!
Here's how Logan described the horn to me earlier:
It is a Getzen block, Taylor bell - Medium taper with red brass stem and yellow brass flare, leadpipe is my .020" gauge lightweight with a .350" venturi, and the tuning slide is a wide radius bend compared to my normal tuning crook.

For the shop video today I was using a ribbon microphone.... just changed the gain levels on the fly during the video.

You mentioned Meinleschmidt block, but not the MAW valves, right? I think is a great recording by the way. Keep the setup!
Logan offers both non-maw and MAW MS blocks as options in his performance series.
@@austincustom Yes, but does that particular horn have the MAW valves or not?
@@gregorysolman7404 as I stated in the video and also on the written description a few times it has Getzen valves.
