Those are HFP (Honda Factory Performace) wheels now know as HPD (Honda Performance Development). Wheels were offered for the EP3 Si from the factory. They are rare! Very nice pickup, rare OEM wheels for a rare OEM 6 Speed TSX! Congrats 🎉
I have a 2005 that I purchased in 2012 with a 67,405 miles. Paid 8k. A steal at the time. Fast forward to 2024, I have have the car with about 215,000 mile and an all around OEM body kit I purchase couple yrs back. I have a 23 TLX Type S so this 05 TSX is my daily and I still love it til this day. Not once has it ever given me any major issues. Reliability is 100% there !
I replaced the starter on mine, it's pretty common. Also my Cv's went including the intermediate shaft, as well as the rear wheel bearing. My last k block was k20z3 civic si that was at 280k, redlining everyday and only burning oil through the pcv valve. These engines are bombproof stock. My car is an 07
I agree, these cars are great looking and don't look at all dated. I have a 2017 Accord which I like but I think I like this better. Good for you getting the stick shift. It's probably the only way to get the car.
I have a 2005 Honda Accord (Euro/Japan),which is the same car. Executive trim = full option. Been my daily for over 7 years now. Love it more every time I drive. Always turn my head around to look at it, whenever I come home and walk to my door. Yours looks 👍🔥🔥
Congrats brother, I just bought a 2007 TSX last month after wanting one for a long time just like you. Mine is clean but not as clean as yours, some rips inside and some fading paint and AT but even with 209K miles she’s still running quiet and smooth. We’re blessed for sure, enjoy her bro!
Beautiful car, man. I’m an FG2 owner, super clean and low mileage one but I’m 45 years old now, and it’s hard to get in and out. These old Acuras have always been on my radar too.
I saw these wheels on accord too. We used to refer to them as the Honda “silver star” wheels. If you want to sell, please let me know. I had a set on my 05 TSX and should have kept them when I sold the car.
I have a gray 06 6 speed with 162k, had for 5 years. I’ve done a lot to it so it’ll last me another 10+! Mine also came with the HFP wheels but I sold them, just not my style. I have the European accord wheels from the previous gen on it now. Unfortunately mine has some rust so it may not live as long as yours 😂 if you ever have any maintenance issues feel free to ask. I’ve replaced most things that need done.
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on your purchase. However, I notice your outside rear-view mirrors have a narrow style turn signal indicator, which is a more modern style for a TSX of that year. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you purchase them from?
Just wanted to ask, how does your brake pedal and steering feel? My brake pedal is stiffer where the brakes bite. Was wondering if something's wrong with mine or if it's normal. And how does your steering feel? Sorry to bombard you, I've been dying to ask another TSX owner
Everything feels great on mine to be honest. I’d say re bleed the brakes and double check everything and for my steering feels normal just need to get adjusted to the whole car I’m still kinda new to this chasis but overall it’s great.
@@FRESHREXTV so your break pedal has no resistance? and your steering is light also? my steering has some resistance, enough to where i can't make a turn using one hand
